normal for shrink to use 100%cpu?

i just traded my old pc for this one and i forgot if 100% cpu usage is normal or not? is it?

backing up the newer movies i have been expericancing some higher usage but cleaned up pc so far so good..
is it all the time , just ripping ,or ? mine was using shrink

i have 1.5 gig of 3200 ram AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4ghz with 200gig hdd. I recently had to return the GPU i bought so im using my intergrated card could that slow it down? also i seems to be only shrink.

Check your task manager and see what programs are running while you are using Shrink. You may have programs that are not needed. Your integrated card could be the issue, but check to make sure.
