Well I see a few things that could use some attention:
Your firmware is quite out of date which could cause problems with recognizing media:
Quote: Recorder: <LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S>Version: BS0C
Updated firmware, version BS0Y can be downloaded from rpc1:
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1934
Your DMA is not enabled
Quote: DiskPeripheral : Maxtor 6Y080L0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off
CdRomPeripheral : LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S atapi Port 0 ID 1 DMA: Off
Guide to enable it here:
http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/dvdguide005.html
It looks like you could try and free up some RAM. Try disabling any applications that are not needed for the actual DVD copying process. Take a look at your Task Manager and see what you have running in the background.
Quote: Physical memory : 503MB (515568kB)
Free physical memory: 150MB (154580kB)

I see that you have InCD installed which can be a problem.

At some point I'd remove this with Nero's' InCD clean tool:
http://nero.com/nero6/enu/InCD_CleanTool.html
Nero mentions installing a new version. I'd run it without InCD unless you really need it. If so, install it and test.
Quote: Disc Manufacturer: SONY16 - D1
born2ride has a good idea about changing the media. Sony DVDs made in Japan are OK from what I understand. If they were made in Taiwan they are not.
These particular Sony DVDs are supposed to be OK. This is a typical thread I find by doing a Google search on this media:
http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t305481.html
I use Taiyo Yuden so I don't have media related problems. Save Memorex for data. Not DVD-Video. Memorex CMC-MAG are known crap. You have to get the manufacturers code to see if they are the CMC-MAG type. You could try a simulated burn with Nero and look at the log as well.
Hope this helps.
