New problem. Trying to copy dvd and ok till last 11 minutes and shrink error pops up "have to close. encountered I/O problem in drive". I have copied other dvd's since and process ok. Just some discs. This is second time this error came up. Any suggestions? Anyone else have/had this problem?

What DVD's were you trying to backup when you encountered this error?

Do you have...
latest version of DVD Shrink?
latest firmware update of your DVD-ROM?

USE FIREFOX

have you ripped the dvd to your hard drive and then run it through VobBlanker or fixvts prior to shrink?

@jimmy2006

Try using DVDFab decrypter to rip the video files to your hard drive. Once DVDFab is done, run shrink and open the video files, then process as you normally would. You can get DVDFab decrypter here:

I sometimes get this message, and it usually means input/output error. In other words, the original disc is scratched or dirty. Get it changed if poss. or give it a good clean up.
