firmware 2.81 games help!!

i just downloaded the yugioh psp game. it says that i need a firmware 2.81 to play it, but the latest devicehook is 0.46 and it can only emulated out to 2.1 fm. anyone knows how i can play this game?? thanks to anyone who replies.

devhook 0.46 emulates 2.71 so it should work for some games and you sig exceeds kb reduce it

but we are talking about 2.81 fm games here, it's not 2.71. it freezes out every time i loaded up the game.

is it the iso of the game because if so the update folder may not have been pulled from it

The yu-gi-o(sp)? iso that is going around needs to be patched
Game does not boot untouched, fix is included.
1. Extract ISO, and psy-yugxtf-fix.rar
2. Put ISO and fix.bat in same folder
3. Run fix.bat
A new working ISO will be generated which works
with latest Devhook

IT'S A HELL OF ALOT EASIER THAN THAT, you simply just...
open the .rar file.
click PSP_GAME
click SYDIR
click UPDATE
and Delete the three update files, that's how i play all the 2.81 required games with 2.71 devhook,,
p.s. i think a you're welcome is at hand, o, and if you cannot delete the three files, open the iso in umdgem, then go and delete the three files

how the f' old are you, no effence, but yugioh is kinda retarted, unless it's like pokemon where the show sucks, but the games rule!?

wiidiot, i downloaded the ripkit and applied to the ISO, but in the middle of it, there was an error message. what do i do at this point?
xlang, i will try to use ur method in a sec, i thought the update files are there if u have versin 1.5 psp and the game wants u to update it so u can play it, but does it have any effect on the game fm?

it doesnt work guys. the japanese yugioh version loaded up perfectly without no glitches but the american version froze up on my psp when i loaded it? does anyone have any better idea to fix this?

i got my iso from torrentz.com, there was only one english yugioh ISO. maybe it's fake. i dont know. really want to play that game so bad. the thing about the japanese version is that there arent any english language.

well i was always a yugioh fan, so yea to me it is :D. now i am just waiting for somone to fix the game or for someone to come out with a new version of devhook. it's taking very long.

i don´t have this game but i was looking for the new releases in a newsgroup and they have this there
Yu-Gi-Oh GX Tag Force(FIX)
and in the nfo they say
Random crashes in last release, fixed.. now everything should be working.
Place our files in the root of your devhook folder, pSyPSP
release will now boot untouched. Please note this only affects devhook from memory stick, not if you are using flash version with SE-B. We weren't crazy enough to try it on the flash ;)

what does it mean, it only effacts the devhook. either way if devhook doenst play, u cant play the game. i am confused. can u give me the site to the link, i cant find it in http://www.newzbin.com

They know only of it to be affective with DevHook, they havent tried it with 2.71SE-B

ok i agree with xlang. i tried it and i worked perfectly.
1)open up the file
2)you should have two things
3)a psp_game and a data.bin...right?
4)you'll need UMDGen...whatever version will be fine
5)drag your file into it
6)go save it and name it something else.
7)when it's done saving, go to file and click on open
8)open what you've just save and click on the PSP_Game folder
9)you should see two folders. go and find which ever folder has 3 files in it.
10)delete those 3 files only. nothing else and not the folder...just the 3 files.(not folders)
11)save it again and name it what you want. when it's done, just copy and paste it into your MS. it should play perfectly fine.
holla back to see if it work aight!
