HD-DVD BACKUP WITH DVD SHRINK ?

How could we make a backup copy of a HD-DVD movie?

Right now, there's nothing that will backup HD DVDs or Blu-ray dvds.
Give it time.........

last question,
If I buy HD-DVD player,
Could I play my standard DVD's on this?
and also the Image will be ugraded or unpconverted to a better resolution?

I've heard that they are backward compatible (play older dvds), but I can't swear to it. Don't know if they upconvert either. Maybe someone that knows will chime in.

There is blank media for HD DVD and/or Blu-ray. You can get burners for a pc, but very expensive. They're for burning home videos from HD camera, or maybe record HD tv show. No software yet for doing backups though.
