I've been backing up and burning discs with DVD Shrink for several months,but today I've encountered a problem.DVD Shrink backs up and shrinks the disc okay but when I put a blank disc in the tray to burn the files,my computer screen goes black and restarts.Can anyone help?Thanks in advance.
-What movie are you trying to backup?
-Are you using shrink to autoburn with Nero, DVD Decrypter, or Imgburn?
-Does this happen only when the burner's tray opens for blank media or also during the analysis?
-Does this happen with every movie you try and backup or just this one?
-Have you tried to manually burn the video files to disk?
There seems to be an issue with the latest update to AnyDVD during or at the beginning of the write process (the pc will restart). If you can, revert back to the previous version of AnyDVD (you should still have the download, I keep all of mine just in case). Worst case, you can use the latest beta version of DVDFab decrypter (make sure you disable AnyDVD when using it) to rip with then manually burn to disk using your app of choice until the issue is fixed.
You could also try using shrink with AnyDVD to rip with, but don't use the autoburn function. Once the files have been ripped to your hard drive try disabling AnyDVD (or not) and manually burn to disk using Nero or DVDdecrypter.
