choppy video after burned dvd shrink file

my moives are choppy almost like the dvd is skipping anyone know whats thats all about and what can i do to fix it?

That is usually caused by the blank DVDs you are using. What are you using? Look over in our DVD+/- R forum for info on what you should be using. http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/47

Probably not the best around. get yourself some Verbatims(made in Tawain), or Sony or Maxell all made in Japan or Taiyo Yudens on line at supermediastore.com. Set you target to 4400 so as not to burn all the way to the edge of the disc.

Try Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. I get mine from http://www.supermediastore.com/


Companies like Memorex, Fuji and Imation get their unbranded blanks from various manufacturers. More important than the name of the company that labeled the DVD is the "media ID". This tells you who made the blank, and is what we use to tell if what you are using is any good or not. Some, like those with a media ID of CMC-MAG are known to have problems.

T-Ys, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony made in Japan are recommended.
