Relax people, AnyDVD will have a new update shortly. They are the only ones that have been able to copy anything I ever tried without fail.

or go into main menu, and i already messed up easily 3+
perfect blank tayo youden disc , and this is the first
movie i seen that anydvd/clonedvd2 cannot correctly copy .

100% THIS WILL WORK.
LIES AND ALIBIS AND ATTACK FORCE
1)turn off your any dvd
2)turn on your rip it for me and let it do its thing with DVD Decrypter.
3)save your movie to harddrive c
4)when its done ripping, pull your movie folder to your decktop
5)NOW VERY IMPORTANT, TURN YOUR ANY DVD BACK ON
6)open clone dvd, brose for your folder, and start copying
when its done, you will have full movies, all previews and WORKING MENUS!! YES THATS RIGHT WORKING MENUS.
i watched both prefectly, and even enjoyed playing with the menus.
ENJOY PEOPLE, I HOPE THIS ALL WORKS FOR YOU, LET ME KNOW! ALL YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

As usual I ripped Attack Force, Lies & Alibis using (testing) both methods;
(1) DVDFAB Decrypter 3.0.4.5 Beta
(2) RipIt4Me 1.6.2.0 flawlessly.
Both are FREE and simple, both ripped through smoothly; as easy as sippin' on a Corona.

Best of luck!!

See above post to get the entire thing working for "Lies and Alibis"
Turn off AnyDVD, rip movie with Ripit4me, DVDDecrypter, let fixvts do its thing, compress with either clonedvd2 or dvdshrink, burn with favorite burning program, it works.

I did Attack Force, using Shrink w/Nero, and AnyDVD running. It did the loop thing for me too! Made me waste a perfectly good dvd blank! I then started over with Shrink, but used the "Re-author" mode, and took out Titles 10,11,12,13, and 14. When the first one was looping, I noticed it was at title 14, over and over and over...... So, when I re-did it, I omitted title 14, and decided to omit all the titles that had no audio in them, to play it safe. That worked great! It gave me the movie and previews.
Good luck!
Thxs JVC it worked flawless with shrink & AnyDVD i used Re-author mode.

The ripping process should be anywhere from 14 - 20 minutes depends on your drive and the speed you set DVD Decrypter to rip. FixVTS is just an additional step to process (clean and filter out) left over junks (i.e. tiny unreferenced Cells, VTS, tiny or junk cells, etc.), but it's highly recommend and it shouldn't take no more than 5 minutes.

This method will also work on the Sony titles like "Lies & Alibis" "Attack Force" & "All The Kings Men" Use AnyDVD 6.0.9.O not 6.0.9.2 which does work, not sure why? Combine AnyDVD with the latest CloneDVD2 2.9.0.1 and you will have no trouble at all. AnyDVD 6.0.9.0 will defeat the warning loop experienced with version 6.0.9.2. I actually had no trouble with "Lies & Alibis" using AnyDVD 6.0.8.2 and Nero Recode2 which was the version available when I purchase the DVD a few weeks ago.:p

For Sh*ts and giggles I tried using AnyDVD 6.0.8.8 thru version 6.0.9.2 and CloneDVD2 on "Lies and Alibis" and I still get the looping error. I used a DVD+RW disk by the way, didn't want to waste a good Verbie. Ripit4Me seems to handle the issue fairly easily.

If Talladega Nights has Alpha protection on it, I hope others know to either use AnyDVD, RipIt4Me or some other autorun disabling ripping program, or manually disable it. Because from what I know Alpha will try and install sw on your computer if you don't.

so AnyDVD 6.0.9.0 made attack force run flawlessly or your just assuming because it backed it up with no issues???? see we can do the back up with no issues but it gets stuck on a loop on the warning and fbi anti piracy crap , oh and keep in mind we are trying with MENUS cuz w/out menu yeah it copies it fine

Here's some tips for newbies or those that are clueless before something gets into your system.

<<How to Disable Autorun via Win XP Pro>>

(1) click on Start
(2) Run, then type regedit then click OK (yes... exactly like this)
(3) click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
(4) click SYSTEM, then CurrentControlSet
(5) click on Services
(6) highlight the folder on Cdrom
(7) right click on "AutoRun" on the right hand panel
(8) then choose Modify and change the Value Data to 0 (zero), click OK
(9) now EXIT out from regedit
(10) restart your computer/system and you'll be fine, AutoRun has been disabled.

Best of luck!!

@gus738, No uh...I was reading here while backing up "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" that "Attack Force" was giving people trouble (Sony Release) described as a looping warning? I was not willing to purchase a Steven Segal movie to find out. So I purchased another Sony release "All The Kings Men". Strangely enough I just updated my AnyDVD to 6.0.9.2 and went to back "All The Kings Men" up to disc for travel and what do you know, I got the looping warning. I did notice that I was able to back it up as "Movie Only" but no decrypting software or editing software I own would respond with nothing more than an error of some sort. This software included AnyDVD 6.0.9.2 CloneDVD2 2.9.0.1 VobBlanker 2.1.0.0 SHRINK 3.2 DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 with AnyDVD asisted by Nero 7 Recode2 2.2.7.2 or CloneDVD2. With this said I uninstalled AnyDVD 6.0.9.2 and reinstalled 6.0.9.0 and accompanied by CloneDVD2 I successfully backed up "All The Kings Men" to both DVD-5 (4.7GB) & DL-9 (8.5GB)I did this because the compression was poor on a normal DVD-5.

my question is still simple did you attempt to copy any of these with menus? or just the movie? if the movie only then it doesnt matter cuz ppl can copy the movie only but if you can back it up with menus and you dont get stuck then we can suspect someting on .9.2 version... please answer my question

Ok...and no pun intended gus738, I metioned last that I backed up the movie to dual layer disc because of poor compression. "Move Only" would be just the opposite on a DVD-5 thus no need for dual layer which with DVD menus & extras produce a 100% compression rate unlike the DVD-5 4.7GB. Also if you take a look at the AnyDVD status info (below), I make use of the "Changed firstplay: Jump directly to TitleMenu!" option which reformats the DVD to start from the titles MENU. Good question to reiterate though, cause strangley enough the movie "All The Kings Men" starts from the "Main Movie" with the menus and extras included. I do use a rather fast PC 3.2 processor w/HT with lots of memory 1 GIG RAM and a large hard drive 200 GIG this can enhance my back up capabilities allowing my decryption software to operate at a premium efficientcy. Concluding I enjoy the ability to access menus and special features and rarely do "Movie Only".:p

This movie really sucks!!!!!!!!!!
Buy if you want to waste a DL disk it works fine using Clone 2 with ANY DVD -copy whole disk.
Also Nero recode 2 with ANY DVD -movie only on single layer disk.

@gus738...Kool, Question answered. You may have a media or DVD player issues. I use SONY DVD players and Verbatim & SONY media. I don't have those types of problems. I downloaded the latest version of AnyDVD yesterday 6.0.9.5 and as I expected Slysoft would do, they quickly released an upgrade over version 6.0.9.2. which I feel was flawed. My suggestion to you and anyone backing up their DVD movies is make sure you are working from a capable PC. Many errors are made by users during the back up process. I try to use the best of everything available as this gives the best final result. Short cuts and unsure alternatives will reflect in the end (COASTERS). I'll be picking up the remainder of 12/19/06 and some 12/26/06 releases this evening I'm sure amongst the titles I choose to back up for travel there will be an Arccos or RipGuard protected DVD in the bunch again if you back up your films be prepared and enjoy the end result for a change.:P
