I used Nero and DVD Shrink to burn The Rocket Maurice Richard the movie itself in in french So i have to use the english captions to watch it.The original DVD the english subtitles are fine. but when i pop in the burned version all i get are french. subtitles are in french.

Before you Shrink the movie, in the bottom right hand side of the Shrink you will see subtitles. Make sure that the English subtitles are selected. If you do not need certain subtitles do not select those.

If you do not want French in the movie to be referenced then yes.

If the movie has English & French then leave them both. What I am trying to explain to you is that if there are English subtitles to leave them. If it makes it easy for you just make sure everything is checked. Then Shrink will shrink the whole thing.

However, if it has English & French audio then just select the English. If it has English & French subtitles then just select the English. Now depending on how the menu is arranged might make it a little more confusing. That is why I said to make sure everything is selected.
