How do YOU burn xbox 360 back ups?

i just started learning about xbox hacks and burning back ups. but i do not know how to burn backup xbox 360 games yet. from what i read there are many ways but what is your way that works and how you do it. i just want to get an idea how different methods work.

I use Clone CD. I think that's what most use, but some use Image Burn or DVD Decrypter too.

im using dvd dycrypter to burn alot of my .iso but burning xbox 360 games are way more complicated. can some please tell me step by step to burn xbox 360 games using dvd dycyrpter.

I would use xbox backup creator. Easy as cake.

Set the drive's booktype to DVD-ROM if your burner doesn't do it automatically. You'll have to manually set the layer break to 1913760 for DL media. Burn at 2.4 or 4x.

use the newest version of clonecd works like a charm. No need to set dl b/c it'll auto do it for you. I perferable would use just 2.4x the slower the better. takes about 40 mins though to burn.

i use Schtrom 3.1 and imgburn, very simle process.

Hi, I have wasted alot of expensive Verbatim DVD-R Double Layer dvd's trying to burn my backups without getting it to work. I get the message "You need a xbox 360 console to play this disc" .. I am using the NME chip..
First I tried IMGburn, and yes I did go into settings and set the Layer break to 1913760. And I went into the Bookmark and choosed DVD+R DL but it still won't work. I have tried with my laptop, and with my stationary pc who has a NEC 3500 AG drive..
Can anyone help me before I give up?? :)

The guy who chipped my xbox told me that I won't be able to burn Backups with my Laptop, but I can do it with my Stationary pc (NEC 3500 AG <- dvd burner) If i flash it, is this correct? And if soo, where do I find the flash update to my NEC 3500 AG?
Anyone, I'm getting really desperate here.. hehe

when i download an xbox 360 game from the internet, i get alot of different types. like some come wit a .dvd and an .iso file. some come wit a folder named "patch stealth" and a .rar and it that .rar file is all the parts which are .rar file. and when i open that they show the iso file. how do i burn these games. can some please show me step by step starting from the very begining because i juss bought verbatim dl. and i dont wanna waste them espically when they are not cheap. thanks.

^do you still need a ss.bin code or watever that is. i keep hearing that we need to download a security code or sumthing that matches the game. and you would need to patch it to the game or sumthing. but do i still need to do that after i extract the game form the .rar?

Rooma, I think you have to patch the image with NME Associator for them to work with the NME chip.

hi can anyone help?
i'm too having problems followed all the guides etc etc exact.
i have liteon LH-18A1P, tried clonecd dvddecrypter and imgburn,
all get to approx 55 -60 % then fail saying ' failed to write sectors 3064607 - 3064607 write error'
tried different games also.
using datawrite titaniums burning 2.4x

Are these ISOs you made or downloaded? I never used Datawrites. I think those are in the UK. I do know when in doubt use a Verbatim.

i bought a xbox360 with a hitachi drive and the firmware already changed i burn with clone cd only one game(saints row) to try the xbox but when i try to play the game i get a message that to play this game i need to upgrade ,is this normal should i upgrade?

but i dont get what is the problem my media is ritek and the burner pioneer
