on step 14 u say:

14. Next, extract the files from Eboot.zip to C:\Eboot and copy to your \PSP\Game\Update directory on the removable drive.

15. 5. Rename the EBOOT.PBP to Update.PBP (UPDATE.PBP)

the thing is that there is already a file named eboot.pbp in \PSP\Game\Update, so the question is should i overwrite it with the 1.5 dump? or step 15 should be first, rename to update.pbp and don't overwrite the file already there

no, the 1.50 eboot MUST be called UPDATE.PBP then put it in the update folder, if you overwrite the eboot, you will get a brick

ok thank you tehjoker, thanx a lot i was about to brick my psp!! to the guy that started this thread, SWITCH STEP 14 with 15!!!!!!!!!!!!! First u rename THEN u copy to the PSP, otherwise u overwrite the file and the PSP is bricked... geez man watch what u post

one more thing, after i do this, can i format my memory card? or do i have to leave all those files that were used for the downgrading process?

hi everybody. im new to the forum and got a quick question

2.71 HEN-D (Homebrew Enabler Rev. D) http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/922 that im supposed to download, is it only for FW 2.71? because right now i look at my FW on my psp right now and it says 2.81 or does it work the same?
