sorry guys i didnt read the entire thread, i have the us version R1 saw 3 brand new i have AnyDVD 6.1.0.7 and clonedvd2 2.9.0.3 legal versoins.... i cannot copy this dvd ... as some members mentioned it has 40 bad sectors and clonedvd2 just keeps on saying trying to repair defitive dvd structure please wait! ... here is pictures

I've been using AnyDVD V.6.1.0.7 with Pinnacle Instant Copy and I've not been able to copy Saw 3. I went to the Slysoft site and did not see a newer version. Does any one else use Instant Copy?

I know there is a beta version update from AnyDVD, but I never seen AnyDVD wait so long to get a full upgrade especially after a movie like saw3, we would almost always get an upgrade the very next day on hard nuts to crack, I would love to know the story behind the delay.

dialysis1, wow, that was a good read, but get this, from what he says it means this whole delay is cause nobody sent him a copy yet, lol, if that was a problem I would have sent them a copy express mail myself.

use CloneDVD and run any dvd in back ground for movie only works good if want the whole movie take out titles as suggested

Hi all, Made a full backup of Saw3 running AnyDVD, updated ripit4me, and most importantly I used the correct path to DVD Decrypter and not dvdfab decrypter in the settings. smoothe sailing from there. Burned with Nero

The ones you need to uncheck in CloneDVD (click cancel when saying trying to repair) posted earlier in this thread are 1,4,6,7,15,16,17.
All but 4 & 6 are just the bad sectors/blank video. 4 is a warning and 6 is the dvd commentary verbiage bit.
When Clone rips it to the hard drive (even temporarily) it will create a new dvd structure minus that stuff.

If you're still having problems getting a copy of saw 3 use the little tutorial on page 16 of this thread. I did the backup with RI4M 1640 and 1650 without problems. Use the latest of course. You can go by the whole tut or stop at the Shrink transcoding and use the files in another program. I burned and played the DVD so I know the method works. Some people are giving methods I know shouldn't work. People saying they're using RipIt4Me with AnyDVD. The program says to shut down ono-the-fly decryption.

Schweet! Thanks - I actually got your link much earlier but it has been taking some time to get the final copy. I did the 1-click and it worked flawlessly now in my Panasonic player. Now I'm going to do a clean copy and flush out the warnings and stuff with VOBB.
Much appreciated! Would have never thought to uncheck those. This is my second favorite forum next to Slick Deals!

The saw 3 has fallen to me use dvd clone and AnyDVD the most current version.
You can burn two ways: copy the movie or copy by breaking the sub-chapter and get rid of chapters 7, 11-15
chapter 3 has the menu and chapter 8 has the movies so choose what you want to keep

I tried everything quoted on page 16 and nothing It wouldn't even open there (Rip it 4 me) the movie didn't even show up as in the drive. So now I'm just going to try to get the full movie by taking out the bogus titles as listed here. The one that I copied the other day will not play all features and stops. Also I've now updated to the beta version of Any DVD. Thanks for all your help here.
ps I hope that everything will be worked out before "Open Season" comes out.

just attempted to copy it with the picture guide on page 16. It runs through decrypter and fixVTS just fine with no errors or hangs at all, however when it gets into shrink, when I click backup it hangs for a moment with the hourglass, and then just closes. When I attempted with my other compressor (DVD2One) it crashes when I hit full disc copy and then select the file with the windows "not responding" box. This is with a complete wipe of all utilities ripit4me uses, as well as ripit4me. Downloaded and reinstalled all of them. (installer version of ripit4me) so they are all up to date. (checked with websites) Here's the ripit4me log.

Use DVD Decrypter when it's done use on the fled you save it to use fixvts 1.6.0.3 when that done use DVD Shrink and you got the hole movie guys
