It will copy fine and whe it is finished the original pops out and then the error. Here is a copy of the error. Its long and i have no idea what it means. I am using Nero to burn with. Any help anyone.

Hi towerman
You getting the TRF error because of the version of Nero you are using.
Version 6.6.1.4 gives this error when trying to autoburn with Shrink.
So take Nero down a step. Here's a thread with all the info and links to download:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/325848
Recorder: <_NEC DVD_RW ND-3550A> Version: 1.05
Your burner can use an update too - the latest is 1.06.

Binkie7 has a point, certain releases of Nero 6 had problems. Nero 7 has been around for a while. I switched to it and don't mess with the updates unless it's for something I need. I've been burning trouble free for a long time.

Thanks for all the info. First I going to reinstall Nero and use all but the last update and try that. As far as Nero 7, a couple guys I work with have said they have problems with DVD Shrink and Decrypter with that version. I know a lot depends on each system setup but I have been holding back because of that. Again thanks for the prompt help.

Nero 7 like a lot of things depends on the user interface. In most cases the part that pushes buttons and moves the mouse has more effect than most other factors. I've used Nero 7 since it came out and have had no problems with it. When doing video recording, always remember not to have InCD installed. As long as it's working right, I don't try to update all the time. I've noticed others complaining, but a lot has to do with those doing the monthly updates to maintain free Nero. I don't know if they're still doing that or not.
If you want to try Nero 7, now would be a good time. Load the trial instead of going back to your earlier version of Nero 6. You can delete and install your Nero 6 later.
