Help with PS3 Wifi Usb connection please

I got this adapter... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...12807&rd=1&rd=1 so i could connect to my ps3 and when i get one a wii. But i cant get my PS3 to connect to the PC USB wifi adapter. It is in Ad-hoc mode like it suppose to be and i just cant get it to connect. Its a 60gb ps3 so i know it has wireless wifi. im wanting to send my pc connection to my ps3 and wii threw this adapter. i have my connection shared to the wireless adapter and i still cant get it to work. I input the SSID into both and they the ps3 just cant find a connection (says cannot find acces point) Can anyone help?

The USB device seems to look for a WiFi conection to connect to a Wireless signal/web. It's my understanding that the one you have listed does not create the wiresless network. There's no need to plug it into the PS3 either as it comes out of the box with a Wifi wireless connector. Sounds like you need a Wireless router.

OMG i got it working!!! The chipset was the same as the WIFI Max and i used its driver and it automaticly made a accesp point! wireless for my ps3!!! awsome! now i can actually update the wii when i get it lol
