DVD Shrink Erroor; Out of memory

I can't recall the exact error message, but essentially, the Shrink program terminates and gives me an error that says there is insufficient memory.

I have plenty of RAM and plenty of harddrive available. It only seems to happen with backing up "Lionsgate" DVD's which seems to have the fragmented issue when you try and back it up with 'Any DVD' and then Shrink.

I ran the program DVD Decrypter and then tried DVD Shrink.

Any suggestions.

Have you tried dvdfab decrypter, ripit4me, or AnyDVD? These programs can do most movies with encryption. The two you mentioned can not... Well, not without help from AnyDVD anyways...

Based on what you have stated, this is most likely caused by an encryption issue that shrink can't do anything about. To get around this try the apps suggesed by res2cue, two are free but AnyDVD is not (comes with a 21 day free trial).

These guys are telling you straight. Since you already have Decrypter and Shrink loaded, all you need to do is go ahead and load the RipIt4Me with the installer. It might be an idea to give the small official guide a quick once over. RI4M is easy to use though. http://www.ripit4me.org/guide.html
