if i was you, i'd double-check b4 using it... or just buy one new from somewhere other than ebay... it's worth spending just a FEW extra bux to know for sure on a $300-400 console!

thanks for the reply,,,
well i'm trying to see if i can do something with this now,,
--do you think will work if --i plug the cooler to the xbox ,and plug the power thru the cooler ,,but the fans from the cooler to cut the wires and conect them thru a transformer to the wall? separate,,
so the fans dont have nothing to do with the console?,,
what do you think...

you need a power adapter for the fans... you cannot hook it up thru a transformer (unless you meant adapter).
the fans are either 12v or 5v, i'm not sure, but i'm positive it's one or the other. and that's DC (direct current). the wall is AC 110v 60hz, etc... that will NOT work.

i mean ,,a adapter so whatever voltage you get from the 3 little fans(cooler) to use adapter to wall (110),,
i have a friend maybe he will help me do this ,,
my consirn is if i plug the cooler into the xbox console ,,and the power will just run thru it,,i dont think will damage anthink?,,

did you find any good ways to burn on dvd rw dl -games xbox360?,
if you're running a separate power for the fans i see NO REASON how the Nyko can affect your system unless the PASS-THROUGH power plug on the actual Nyko was physicall defective.
to burn games you need a dual layer burner, the media, and the program that helps do it (i forgot the name, haven't done it in a while). you also need to HACK your 360's DVD drive (if it can support it).

I wuldnt, the PS3 seems to cool itself very well. I will never trust the Nyko brand ever again

A reputable laptop fan would be better for any of them really.

this fan is also known to drain the systems power and cause it to overheat and cause errors. also heard it voids your warranty.

Ok let me get this straight if I have a new intercooler from the store then I am ok? I am in IRAQ and i have to keep my 360 cool or it will die let me know the best course of action please

at this point and time I would get 2 laptop fan units and sandwich the 360 in between running the fan units off a USB ac/dc adapter.
the intercooler has at least 1 known issue power consumption that leads to failure.

the problem with the nyko cooler is that it consumes a huge amount strait from your main power supply
however gamestops model only takes from the usb, a usb's power limit is 2.5 watts, which a 360 controllor maxes out, so its safe to assume game stops counter part is safe:}

one thing to understand is that many people complain and say the fan isn't powerful enough......not true, by fitting it on the bottom of your 360 the fan opens up another vent that would be blocked, see there is no way to allow all the 360's vents to be opened at once because one side will always be on the floor (a.k.a blocked), so the fan speed up the air current and helps the internal fan by opening another vent
btw:would it be okay to take the cover off the heat sink in my 360??

yea, i got an EX too for christmas, but the stupid thing wouldnt conect into my 360 but thank goodness it didnt because i LOVE my 360 and my life would be over without call of duty 4

My TV is at least 20years old. (Its still the best one in the house though. lmao)
I dont mind losing "Quality" on a SDTV.
