I was jsut wondering if someone knew of a program that could boost the bass on my .mp3 files so that went i got in my car their would be an improvement without me having to upgrade my speakers. No they are not factory just want to know if anyone knows a windows software that boosts bass
yeah i have that it does not do anything. I want to edit the file with some kind of software, and make it permanent so that went i burn to a cd and put in my car the bass that i improved is still there. I mean on those limewire program i always see stuff like super bass remixes of songs. Well how do they put that kind of bass in those songs?
In Nero Suites 6 and 7 there is a wave editor which lets you set the equalizer for output. Thats a pay program though and I havent used that specific feature, just looked at the help files to prove it exists and it doesnt look too difficult.
I believe the audio editor Audacity can do what you would like. Check there page out (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) it works on windows and linux, im not sure about mac.

Good call! Forgot about it since I use something else. Many guides on how to create your own ringtones for cellies are written using this program. I copied from their page in bold here...
