and to those starview owners who came here and get the file and it fixes their proble, have the courtesy to thank feckers for the time and effort he put in to do this.. so what I am trying to say is dont juct fuck off once it works.. atleast pay some gratitude...

Just keep changing channels, it will be there somewhere. The channel that shows the charge would link you to the proper channel once you paid. You just have to look for it.

In an attempt to give Fekker a rest. My starview is set up and certain "ahem" channels came up blocked under their correct name one example being SKY MOVIES 9.............. but many of the channels are picked up again by the starview box but not given a real name; it cld be TVS10 or something and there is no block to watching them on that specific channel. I get to watch sky movies 9 but not by picking the channel badged as Sky Movies 9 but by flicking thro' unnamed channels after checking what file is on SKY MOVIES 9 and looking to see where I pick it up and then note that Channel for future - or even re-name it !!!! to SM9

Not allowed type e-mail addresses but if you e-mial me yours I will send you the fix file. I get a copy of the GT Loader software tomorrow and if you don't have it before then I can e-mail that too. Do you have the cable ?

PM means private message so no-one else sees ur e-mail. To PM you click the icon at the right hand side of the person you want to message. I am new myself so no worries. My mate has all my starview kit - but the boxes came in one delivery with one disc and one cable. My mate also got a copy of the file I just sent you but he got his earlier today. He used the software (called GT Loader) on the disc that came with the starview box to open up the file that was made today by someone / somewhere when everyone realised NTL had moved / sitched codes or whatever they do. The cable is the last piece of the jigsaw that connect box & PC. I have been told that once the file updates box the world becomes a happy place again (porn 'n' all)

Brand new so be gentle with me! I'm about to update the software - many thanks to those who create/find the software - one daft question - you say turn the starview box on, right? Theres an on/off switch on the back, but there's also one on the front! I know the back one is "power" so that HAS to be on, but what about the front switch - does it matter? Thankxxx guys & gals!

Your box needs to be switched on at the back. Connect it to your pc, switch em both on and run GT software. Then just locate the updated bin file(which you should have if you've followed the links) and use it with the GT program. I know it sounds a bit tricky for some people BUT ITS NOT!! Just take your time. My 12 year old daughter done mine

The Starview does'nt need to be on at the front panel, Standby (clock on front display) should be ok!
