the emulator im running is snes9xTYL 0.4.2me Works great, question as before, What folder do i put the roms in, come on guys someone knows on here,

bern you have to create a folder called ROMS if u dont have it already to play your roms , and just leave it in the s9 folder

thanks, if i go in to psp folder inside snes 9x TYL there is a roms folder, Ive tried that one but the roms were not recognised, so ive made a ROMS folder elsewhere, will have to try that, THANKS THE LOT

LETS START WITH I AM NEW TO ALL OF THIS. I HAVE MANAGED TO FUMBLE MY WAY TO FIRMWARE 3.10 OE-A IN HOPES OF RUNNING POPSTATION, HOMEBREW ETC. I CANNOT GET POPSTATION TO RUN FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT ONCE DOWNLOADING HOT SHOTS 2, I CANNOT FIND THE KEYS.BIN FILE ANYWHERE IN MY PSP'S FILE DIRECTORY NOR CAN I SEEM TO FIND ANY SUPPORT IN REGARDS TO THIS ISSUE... CHANCES ARE I AM ENTIRELY MISSING SOME SMALL STEP... ANY HELP, IT WOULD BE GEATLY APPRECIATED FOR I AM DUMB... DUMB AS HELL LOL

Thanks Hexitnow for your work. I have 3.02oe-a and just wondering if I semi-brick it during the upgrade process, could is still access the recovery menu?
Also are these the correct steps?
1. Format MS
2. Run the Winstaller
3. Run the upgrade from the PSP
Also how long should the upgrade normally take? Ive read somewhere that the 3.03 oe c upgrade takes longer as it is a whole new version and creates new files or something similar.
PS: I just wanna know everyones opinions on the rate of bricking when upgrading to custom firmware, compared to say downgrading firmwares

my laptop is not able to recongnize me new sony 4GB memory stick pro duo in the slot. Wht should i do? will it be fine if i format it using my PSP and then insert it in the laptop.
Please help.

i enabled hide corrupted icons and still see them white my emulators , is there any way to get rid of them , also whats the diff with 303 kernal and 1.5 kernal, which one should it be on

TenMen here are the games not working
Does not work
Cabelas African Safari(US) (Swapped out PRX files from any other 2.71 games(Family Guy) but did not work
Kanji Trainer Portable(JP) Stays at now loading(in DHv51.01 with 3.01 FW)and DHv46 hybrid 2.71
Pro Evolution Soccer 2007(US) (Did not work in 3.10 OE-A2 or DHv52)

skip12 it takes like 5min(or less)and you do not need to format your MS

Formatting with the PSP is only going delete everything on the memory stick(ok if you never put anything on it), and put up the folders that the PSP uses(MP_ROOT, PSP, GAME, etc.). It might just not be compatible with your laptop because the stick is to new. You could hookup your PSP through USB and transfer files that way.

Hey whats up Hex,
Does anyone else have problems playing games online with your psp in infrastructure mode?? Here is my problem:
Ok I finally was able to connect to the EA server. Was starting a game of NHL '07 and well it didnt go all the way through. Regardless of whether I host or I join another game being hosted...once the game loads up and starts against my opponent, while the introduction is going on, at the bottom of the screen it says "waiting for user"...and finally it disconnects me from the user with the following message "A Network error Occured. Cannot connect to other user". I get this message without fail every game. I have one other infrastructure game which is Twisted Metal which seems to work fine when i connect and play against other people. I called EA the only thing the only advice they could give me was to upgrade my firmware. What do you think Hex should I upgrade to 3.10 OE-A as I am currently on 3.03 OE-C. Do you think it will make a difference and if not do you have any other suggestions?? Hex please help, you seem to be able to do wonders with this thread. Thanx

router: Linksys WRT54G
I believe my internet source is DSL
Not sure of the provider.

Hi, I managed to upgrade my psp to 3.03 0E-C and now I'm thinking to upgrading it agin to 3.10 OE-A. Can I still do that??,
and which one is recommended and or better...??

well 3.03 oe-c has its on special stuff and so does 3.10 oe-a

Hey guys! Newbie here and I was just wondering if changing the No UMD option in 3.10 OE too many times could cause problems. I was testing some ISO's last night and most of them worked fine but a couple caused the screen to just go black when loaded and I had to turn off the PSP to get back to the home screen. Now today when I went to play one of my UMD games it is not working. I put the UND in the drive and nothing happens and I mean NOTHING. It doesn't make a sound, doesn't spin, the icon doesn't show up...nada, zip zilch...like it isn't even there. Is it possible I messed up the driver (if that is what it is) or something? Really need help because while I have plenty of working ISO's to play I am really in love with a couple of my UMD games and my kid wants to play the Scooby Doo game I bought him a week ago really really bad:( I already tried going back to 1.5 and still no luck; re-installed 3.10 OE and still no change.
