You know when you go to quit a game and get the grey screen that says "Do You Want To Quit The Game?"
Anyone know where that text is held, and could it be changed? I just looked all through the 1.5 game_plugin.rco and couldn't see that bit, but I may well have missed it. I thought that would be a cool screen to mod, but can't find the text and don't think it could even be done, as the 3.03 game_plugin is encrpyted?
I did find all the text like "An Internal Error Has Occured" etc etc in game_plugin.rco. It would be cool to change that to something like "Your PSP doesn't like you anymore", lol. But I imagine it's not such a good idea to flash a 1.5 .rco to a 3.03 PSP.

Yea, npdyna... That was my idea that I didn't wanna share. Modding that "Do you wanna exit?" screen. :( Dammit... I already asked the dude that did the "Change almost any icon on your XMB" mod thing. He doesn't know where it is, either. I guess we're all screwed. I would love to mod that screen, but I also wanna learn how to mod my recovery screen. It's gotta be in one of the rcos in vsh/resource. I've seen some really sweet recovery screen mods. Like this one:
And of course that's Undertaxxx's recovery menu. He's always ahead of the game.

ok there are some things u guys need to know. Guano if u had otld me you wanted to mod the "do u want to quit the game" screen i woulda told u, it can tbe done. its hard coded into some next prx. Dark_alex himself told me when i made a thread about it. he told me it was to do with some next .prx i cant rememeber! but hey if he said it cant be done then hell it cant.
Also the recovery menu. mines red :) u need an app that 0okm made which he hacked the recovery menu colours. Undertaxx how ever doesnt want to share his damn tool. You can obtain that nifty app from 0okm new forum but its aa btch to sign up (thats why not many ppl have the tool)
You need a private mail (like ones u pay for)

I am also pretty sure u can mod the color by hex editing the recovery .prx. It's either on the maxconsole forums or psp-hacks.com forum.

Yep but trust me on this one mate its quite hard. u need to decrypt the vshamin.prx and then hex it. sounds simple but the hexing is a bitch!

@ Guano, it would definitely be a cool screen to mod, it's just finding it that's the tricky part. The way things are going though I bet one of the devs will find it in the next few weeks.
Any of you guys read the stuff on Maxconsole that were about references to a SUPERVISOR MODE that some dude has found in some PSP code. It was in the same thread that had the stuff about the "jigkick" battery which legend has it can unbrick a full brick. I'll try and find the link, but it was interesting stuff.
EDIT - just reread what Touran wrote about "Do you want to quit". I guess if D_A said it can't be done then its gotta be unmoddable :-(

well, i never googled, i just went to pspupdates.com it isnt on the second or first pge. i wud put effort in if i wanted it really bad. i just thought you would be able to tell me as it is not really hard. but forget it i dont want it that bad

guys i need a lil help lol, i downloaded that RCO edit thing and then decrypted the 3.03 firmware. i then tried to load the .rcos and they wont work :s do i need to use another firmware ?

um i havent learned how to manually edit the battery icon yet that's my next achievement after rebuilding all my XMB icons (yes i said ALL). I do have some pre made ones from QJ tho. Im almost positive it's the one from 2.5 however.
