I would be eternally grateful if anyone could help me out! I have been informed by hexitnow that I need to install 3.03 OE-C firmware onto my 1.5 psp. I have dine that and it works fine. I have downloaded gta:lcs from uTorrent and have been told that I need to put it in the ISO folder on the memory stick. When I have done this, and go to game - memory stick, I get an icon saying corrupted data, and that the game is corrupted. I have also done it with gta:vcs and tiger woods '07, and the same message is produced. PLEASE HELP, YOU WOULD MAKE MY DAY!

the ISO foler is in the root of your ms. And, make sure the files you put in are CSO or ISO files. Other than that i have no idea whats up unless its your firmware.

Thanks to DvDBack23 for my sig!

It must be like this:

X:/ISO/BLABLA.ISO

Not:

X:/ISO/BLABLA/BLABLA.ISO

In other words no sub folders.
What was the file extension when you downloaded it?

this is happening to me too. I installed 3.10oea and created a folder call ISO on the root of my MS and put my Final Fantasy IX CD3 game inside the ISO folder. When I go to GAME on my PSP, the file is corrupted. The file extension for the Fina Fantasy IX game is Image Files, that should be ISO. I can play it with PSX emulator on my PC just fine.

PS1 games do not go into the ISO folder, they need to be converted to EBOOT form, and placed in a folder inside the GAME folder.

Ps1 games:
x:/PSP/GAME/(make a new folder)/(place eboot and keys of the game into this folder)

Psp games:
x:/ISO/(place iso of the game here, do not create another folder in here)

Please help me here... I have 3.03oe-c and I have a PSP ISO of Need For Speed Most Wanted

I put it in
X:\ISO\NEEDFORSPEED.ISO

I can see it in my Game XMB but when I load it. It says there's an autosave feature, If I want it choose yes, if I don't want it, choose No.. When I chose Yes, it loads the game.. But it took forever or it is actually freeze?

When I chose no, the same thing happens.

So I guess PSP games don't need to be converted to EBOOT.PBP, they can just be ISO.

CSO or DAX are the better of the working psp compressed iso data types... for instance:

Ape Academy (EUR).iso - 364MB //.cso - 155MB //.dax - 136MB

it's up to you whether you like umdemu, dh, OE-FW, daxziso...etc

FFT

I feel sorry for people still using DEVhook.....no, i feel stupid for them...

Considering your running 303OE-C DAX aint going to work for you.
ISO and CSO only.

yeah if you find that its not working out and you've tried everything, having a bad rip is probably the problem. I know with some games like lumines 2 where i wasnt able to play any games. I only got as far as the menu!

EDIT: also MB don't really matter, you find different sizes depending on the stuff thats been ripped out.

so with 3.03oec do u really need any loaders for iso movie/games? mine seems to save to mem stick fine but when i try to load its just a black screen and after about a min the psp shuts off or i have to shut it off. i can still hit the home button to quit the game but when i hit yes to go back it just goes back to the same screen. anybody know whats up?

nope no loaders are neccessary for the oe-c stuff. ISOs will play normally, all you need to do is just put your ISOs in the ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. Hmm strange! so you're saying your ISOs won't play on the 3.03 oe-c?

ALso movies you just convert to a formatt which the psp can play (mp4).

not all programs will convert MP4s for PSP. Some Mp4s that were converted from certain softwares that I used would not play on my PSP but would play if I use something like PSP Video9 or BOilsoft MP4 converter.

i recommend that you get the iso and cso compressor. I think it converts DAX to ISO or CSO. I've never used DAX so I wouldn't know. Gimme a sec and I'll find the link for you ;)

Its not what i use but it looks real good , i might even get it myself. Find it here

EDIT: and yes DAX does not work on OE-C.
