DVD Shrink can't see burner.

Something strange has been happening. Suddenly I no longer got the option of my burner under "Select backup target". My only options were "Hard disk folder", "ISO Image file" and "ISO image File and Burn with DVD Decrypter". My drive is working properly with other programs. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled DVD Shrink several times. I got so desperate to even perform a Destructive Recovery to my computer. Same problem. Please help guys, I'm getting ready to cry.

Yup. I can burn with Nero, create data discs and CD's with various programs like Record Now and Musicmatch jukebox

Do you have InCD installed? With the Roxio, do you have Drag to Disc? I'm trying to find out if you have any batch writing software and is it on?

I can also watch movies through the drive with PowerDVD and even perform an "open disc" to analyze with shrink through this drive.

InCD is an optional writing program with Nero, but a recording problem when installed. Drag to Disc is the Roxio equivalant. Just to make sure, you didn't have any of the other recording programs open when you tried Shrink did you? It might be an idea to delete the program and try a fresh install, it can't hurt anything and sometimes straightens up some problems.

So, this morning I unistalled and reinstalled Nero. It works. Dman, I was so happy. I did do this once before (obviously) after the System Restore and it did nothing. Guess this time was the charm. I re-booted several times and it still works. I just wanted to say thanks for your help. Looks like nobody else took the time. I really appreciate it.
