umm hey guys, im sorta noob at this but, can some one plz give me a link to a devhook, that emulates to 3.03 im on firmware 1.5 i need to get to 3.03

Ultinator, sorry man, but this is a 1.5 thread, please read the title.
I don't wanna be an ass and just tell you to piss off, so I'll try and solve your problem. As for the dude above me, tell me your system specs.. I'll try and help you out man. I'd recommend 3.03 OEC or 3.10 OE A (i have 3.10 OEA)

can any body confirm what is the latest version of devhook? and is this the best one to use on firmware 1.5 to load iso/cso or should i be looking at upgrading or using a different emulator

Hey, I downloaded a PSX game, Final Fantasy Tactics, and it has EBOOT, KEYS, and DOCUMENT inside it. I have 3.03 OEC right now, and I put the entire folder into the Isos folder on the PSP, but when I go to access it, it says "corrupted." Did I do something wrong, are PSP games not isos? If so, can someone lead me in the right direction?

FF tactics is a PS1 game right?
ISOs are actually meant to be for PSP games, althought PSX games can be ISOs, but they need to be converrted to eboot.php... so no, you're not right. Just follow the directions below and it should work. You were doing it all wrong before.
Well take the keys.bin and the eboot.php and then open your PSP root (the first menu that appears when you put a usb to ur psp). Go to psp/game and MAKE A SEPERATE FOLDER CALLED "Final Fantasy Tactics" and put eboot.php and keys.bin in there.
That should definitely solve your problem.. if not then your FF tactics is corrupt.

cheers mate, but what are the advantages of using say 3.03eo-c to dev? i upgraded mine to 3.03 and a couple of iso's refused to load that were fine on v.46 of devhook so i ended up reverting back to 1.5 and using that again

3.03 OE C or 3.10 OE A have lots of customizable options and allow you to play playstation 1 games on the psp
In addition, they run ISOs slightly better than devhook, and there's not that hastle of having to switch between kernel mode and 1.5.
If you have 1.5, I strongly recommend that you upgrade.

any idea why i was having problems with a couple of my iso's that were working fine on dev? i tried to change the kernal but this made no difference, is it down to having 3.03 OE C or 3.10 OE A and what is the difference between these?

does it really matter if u have firmware 3.10 and above because ive still got 3.03 oe-a and dont know whether i shuld upgrade firmware. I guess the real only bad thing is that, i cant play PS1 games as easi as i wud have liked

I recently downgraded my psp from 2.71 to 1.50 successfully and now i need to know how i get to play iso games, ive got a few but for some reason there around 70kb. Ive tried Devhook but when i try to start the game it goes blank and goes off after 20secs.
Can someone pls help me?

Hi there - I have a psp on 3.10 oe-a' and i formatted my memory card in the psp and then loaded my pes6 iso onto the memory card in the ISO folder. The game played fine apart from some slowdown so i read that i should format my card through dos into fat16 - So i did.
However, now i cant seem to get my psp to recognize there is an game there. The memory space is taken but it doesnt show on my xmb.
I created an ISO folder again, and out the ganme in there, but still no luck. Does anybody have any ideas?

ive got a psp 1.50 and i want to play a cso game, ive got the cso file, i put it in the iso folder and ive got devhook 2.71-2.8 hybrid.
when i load it up, i put these as the settings for it:-
UMD select - the cso file
UMD mount - iso any umd
Umd version - 2.xx to 2.0
firmware - 2.71
cpu clock - 222mhz/111mhz
Boot select - reboot xmb
remote control - remote controller
preload adress - 0x89000000
autorun option - disable
usb option - enable
screenshot option - disable
quick usb select - disable
I then click on start, and this blue screen comes up saying 'setting information is corrupted. Press O button to repair and restore default settings.' i then click the circle button, it just restarts and the blue screen comes up again.
I'm a big newbie so can someone just tell me what i should change the settings to and tell me what the problem is with the setting information thing.
i will really appreciate it if someone could help

I think I have a version 1.5 (as I bought it from ebay and it was advirtised as such) and bought my son a game that requires version 2.82.
I have tried to udate my sons psp and it will not and I wonder if this is something to do with something called devhook which seems to be on it.
I would be very grateful of someone could mail me instructions on how to do this as I cannot understand any of this iso/devhook/copies/version 1.5/japan stuff.
I bought the psp with the intention that my son might be able to find the knowledge by friends or forum but he it too young.
I sincerely hope that someone can help.

Well first off when I try to convert my iso to cso i get an error saying "Error! Next available LBA position is 183 but LBA [\UMD_DATA.BIN] position is 172! So i went to layout and changed the position to 183 and everything seemed fine. I tried to load up the cso and I see the white psp logo, but then my screen just turns black.
I am on
3.40 OE-A
1.5 kernal
No UMD - Disabled (cause I have a UMD inside)
Also tried enabled still doesn't work.
Anyone else ever have this issue?

Hy, noobie here, I got my psp with firmware 2.60, I got a friend of a friend help me, we did this process. Upgrade to 2.80oe, then downgrade to 1.5 and then upgrade to 3.10oe. I am planning to take it to the next step 3.40oe. Now my main concern is the following my PSP came with a 32Mb memory we got with this friend a 4gb, which I am using so far for a few days, before he finds out -_- anyways I got some problems:
When i format with my PSP it gives me onthe games in memory a lot of "corrupted data" icons.
I formatted like 5 times, then I decided to do this: I formatted using windows and erase everything, copy all the files from my 32MB memory to it, it worked and i was able to copy a few isos from my own games... I downloaded them from the Internet (no more comments) as I could not create them. I was able to get working Killzone and thats it... half of the rest will show up but not run (Carbon even shut down my psp) and the rest of the games would NOT show up on the list, you could go inside and check it and it will not work.
That is my problem, I bought and still waiting for a 2GB memory stick. And I dont know if its the stick (its Sony Branded) or is the PSP firmware, I got 3.10 OE-A And for instance the 32MB card has Puzzle Bobble inside and it works just fine... Any suggestions on what to do? Update firmware or something? Any help will be appreciated Thanks in advance.
