u have in ur hands a fake ms that u will have to error check after every format (u will have to do this often or else new data will become corrupt)

What? So this supposly Sony branded Memory Stick Pro duo is a fake one? Its not a Sony branded... CRAP! What about a Sandisk one? is it a fake too?

the traits i just explained are characteristics of fake ms's so what i'd do is a)return them from the store i bought them or b)live with it cuz it's not that bad once u get used to it

Okay, anyways I just sold it :) in fact that 4GB card was for a friend, so I will let him check it and decide whether he wants to keep it or return it... he will have to pay for the return anyways, cause we bought it for him :) I am eeeeeeeeevil! XD I am waiting for my Sandisk 2Gb, I hope that one works fine.

I have just put 3.10oe-a on my psp yet caaant get iso to run. I hav put kernal at 1.50,tried no umd disabled and enabled
the iso will work through fastloader0.7 when i was still at v1.5
also where can i find iso to try to see if its my iso???

yeah ^..
You should upgrade like I did to 3.4 OE-A... far far far more useful...e even though I don't customize and stuff, it has lots of cool functions.

marlino... I don't have enough time to fix up a guide for you, but just make sure to ask (make a thread) on what version to what version you gotta upgrade... it will take you at least 1-2 hours to do all of those, lol... GL :)
btw what's a mobo?

mobo=motherboard....
I have 1.5 w/devhook .46 and its hit or miss with the iso/cso's-some will work, some dont..Mainly my issue is that when I am done playing a game, and I go back to play later-I get corrupted data for my game saves..even when I play an actual UMD and save the game, I still get the "corrupt data". Any insights on this?
My PSP has been sitting collecting dust for the last few months, because I get tired of messing with it, and having to start new games every time I play...I am however contemplating taking the leap to 3.40OE to do away with devhook altogether and maybe seeing if the ISO's work any better?

i have a few iso's n dis is my first time tryin 2 use games on my psp using these methods.i am tryin ratchet and clank and i am using umd emulator v08c and iv put all the folders rite im not sure about the settings for the emulator bt i have tryd different 1s that ppl have postd and have sed to work (tsssk). i get to da home screen select da umd which has changd 2 ratchet and clank it goes on da white psp screen goes black 4 a bit den seys dat it cud not be startd (error FFFFFED3). im on fw 1.5 btw.

thank yu, like he said, its a motherboard, i have a couple more questions 'bout devhook. First off, Can i choose which fw i want to run. Second, Will whichever version i run be an OE, or will it be pre-opened (or sumtin) before cuz of it mainly being 1.50? thanks for help

@ marlino- the devhook I have is 0.46, and it emulates FW 2.71 which just runs off of your memory stick, and has the capability to return to 1.5 when finished..as far as choosing firmwares, it depends on the version of devhook-I believe .46 is the latest offering as there was some trouble a while back with the sony developers.

hi.noobie here,i have a problem with fft.iso on my 2.71SEb.i just copied the iso file into the iso folder.the game freezes at the "square enix" page and ms stops reading.also i couldnt delt the file thru psp..any idea for it? thanx

OK now I've update to 3.52M33 and fine with FFT(ver.psp, same file, so it wasnt a corrupt file), but now the 3.52M33 has shown up the same problem when I try to play other new game in ms.... anyone know what should I do?! the game is called"Mahjong_Kakutou"...really thanks for sloved my FFT problem, cheers mate

You should go into recovery mode and make sure your "no UMD" is set correctly now that you are using M33..if you have the setting right, it will allow you to play iso games without having a UMD in the drive..If that doesnt work, then try downloading a different game...

I think its the same for M33 as OE firmwares...
Just power the PSP off completely, (hold power switch up for about 5 seconds) then while turning the psp back on, hold down the R trigger button and it will boot into recovery mode-and from there you can change the UMD options from the configuration menu....

Hi, im using a 1.5 psp with 0.46 devhook to emulate fw 2.71 and I was wondering if you could answer a few of my questions:
*What does "use nc" mean in the psp iso compressor v1.4?
*Some of my csos lag, what is wrong and what should I do? Should I compress it to dax or jso format?
*Could you please give me a guide or translation on how to use the devhook menu to change cpu speed or to run the umd, because it is in Chinese and I can't understand it?
