Modding Halo 2 on the Xbox 360

Things Needed:
-XSATA
-Xplorer 360 ( http://files.filefront.com/Xplorer360_Be...;/fileinfo.html )
-Super PPF ( http://files.filefront.com/Super_PPFexe/;6801819;;/fileinfo.html )
-Map Resigner ( http://files.filefront.com/Map_Resignere...;/fileinfo.html )
-Mods (The PPF Noobs Map Pack: http://www.theppfnoobs.com/Mods/The%20PP...p%20Package.rar )

*Note* You don't neccessarily need XSATA. All you need is a way to connect your Xbox 360 harddrive to your computer.

*Note* You can't mod old maps with this.

First you need to attach your XSATA

Then plug one end of the USB cord into your computer

Then plug the other end into your XSATA and then turn on your Xbox 360

Now open up Xplorer 360

Then go to Drive -> Open -> Harddrive or Mem Card...

Then you will see your harddrives three partions. Navigate through to Partition 3 -> Compatibility -> Xbox1 -> TDATA -> 4d530064 -> $C

Then you will see three folders: 4d53006400000001, 4d53006400000002, and 4d53006400000003. In these three folders are the Halo 2 downloadable maps. Start off by opening the '4d53006400000001' folder.

You will notice that the Containment and Warlock map files are in there. Along with some update files. Right click on Containment.map and click 'Extract' and save it to your desktop. Then leave Xplorer 360 open.

Then open up Super PPF

Then click the floppy disc that is next to 'Map File' on the Super-PPF-O-Matic

Locate the Containment.map

Then click the floppy disc next to 'Patch File' on the Super-PPF-O-Matic

Then locate '1080 Containment.sppf'

Then click the 'Apply Super PPF Patch' button

Then you get a message that says 'Done' and then click OK.

Then you can close 'Super PPF' and now open up 'Map Resigner'

Then click 'Open Map'

Then locate 'Containment.map'

Then click 'Sign Map'

Then in the middle you will see it says 'Complete'

Now you can close 'Map Resigner' and go back to your Xplorer 360, which should still be open. Then right click on the Containment.map that is on your Xbox 360 harddrive and click 'Delete'

Now right click in the blank area of Xplorer 360 and click on 'Insert File'

Then locate your 'Containment.map'

Then it will start injecting

Once it has finished, close Xplorer 360 and unplug the USB cord from your computer and then your XSATA. Your Xbox 360 will reboot because it can now access the harddrive. You have now successfully modded Containment. You can now go through this same process for all the other maps until they are all modded and resigned.
