if i just want to mod certain weapons, not change actually grounds of the map do i still need to do the same steps u provided. like just to make an automatic battle rifle or sumthing...?

hey, im just starting to do these mods, and i wanna have some fun custom games... after i put the maps on my hard drive and do all that stuff, how exactly do i get the fun stuff like flying turrets and automatic BR and the respawn and shootin tanks out of warthogs or fun stuff like that?

Well you could just use DotHalo. It's a nice and simple program used for editing Halo 2 maps. It's quite easy to figure out by yourself but there are plenty of tutorials in the 'Xbox - Software Discussion' forum of this site. Once your their use the search feature and use 'dothalo tutorials' for your search.

No because the 360 cannot boot off of the HDD yet and only new maps are on the hdd so not yet , but you cant mod the 360 by flashing th firmware to play backedup games but thats a whole differnt story

Like starchy said you can't use XSATA to mod old maps. You can flash your DVD drive or you can open your Xbox 360 and learn to hotswap your disc with a modded one.

So where you open Super PPF and add Patch file, is that where you put in the modded file?? and is that all where you open that mod file to? :/

can someone give me a mod where i can use the Super PPF program to 360 Xplorer for Halo 2. I would really like a mod where it's an automatic battle rifle and all my weapons do more damage.

Thanks cereal but you can use different .sppf's than I used. Just do they same exact thing I do in the tutorial except for you use the different mods.

the old maps arnt stored on the hdd they are on the disk so if you want to modd old maps you must make a modded disk
