Do me a favor and dont quad-post
and dont use the CD for modding , use the other xplorer version from google or i think that code junkies has it cause thats a modded version on the disk that prevents you from modding things like that
and i am going to get the xport also when i get my 360 soon
how much was it $20 right?

Xport and XSATA should both work for connecting your Xbox 360 harddrive to your PC. Make sure you don't install any software except for Xplorer360. If you can't get your Xplorer360 or Super PPF to run on your computer then you need the .Net Framework 2.0 ( http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...&DisplayLang=en ) and you just install it and you should be good to go.

question... right now there is a couple of people claiming to have the new halo 2 maps, and they are released on thepiratebay.org, could you use this method to put these new maps onto your harddrive? If so how?

@DRKshdow
If you are using a map that has never been edited before and you got it straight off your harddrive you should be fine. If that's the reason it's not working let me know.
@acsballa
I honestly don't think they have them but if they did and you knew where they belonged on the harddrive, then you could put them on there.
@detinater
If you are using XSATA make sure you plug the one end into your computer and the other end into your XSATA that is attached to your Xbox 360. Turn on your Xbox 360 and then your computer will start to recognize the drive. Once it's done doing what it's doing you can open Xplorer360 and open your harddrive.

You need to extract it from the .rar archieve and put it somewhere, like on your desktop would be the easiest.

As long as you locate the map file with the top box and the patch with the bottem it should work fine. But I don't understand why you can't find it. Just look for the patch that says something like 'Containment.sppf' or that would be different for the other maps.

The links should bring you to a page that says 'Download Now' and then you download whatever it is. But for the mods that I used for this tutorial, it should just automatically start the download.
Also you can use whatever mods you want. Just search around and you'll be sure to find some. Or you can even learn how to make your own.

I don't really understand what you are saying. You need a way to connect your Xbox 360 harddrive to your computer.
@shiv1292
If you are using them in custom games then you need to be the connection host for some mods to work. Other mods like super speed and skins work without host. If you start a game and have people join after it has started you are ensured host.
There are plenty of tutorials on here about how to make your own mods. Also there are probably plenty of people that use this site that would be happy to help you out.

Well if you have an Xbox 360 with a harddrive then all you would need is XSATA or Xport360. You can mod only the new maps though, unless you want to take apart your Xbox 360.
