Am running shrink with the latest AnyDVD update and it seems to be running a lot slower the normal.....

Anyone else notice this???

Check your hard drive and burner to make sure they're not set to operate in the slower PIO mode, you should have DMA mode selected if available to get optimal performance.

All good with the DMA........

Its been running fine for years and now just seems sluggish

Make sure you're not running low on hard drive space, also defrag it. You might also want to make sure you don't have something undesirable unstalled and running as well, like spyware or a possible virus?

-Scan the PC using your AV app
-Scan the PC using Spybot S&D or lavasoft's adware6

It may or may not have anything to do with your speed issue, but I hope you have RipIt4Me and/or DVDFab Decrypter. AnyDVD is no longer working properly with Shrink, especially with the new copy protections on releases like Casino Royale.
