It aint like someone decides to make one or not... PPl are trying but still it might take along time. People need to decrypt the firmware and then try to find a security hole in iut somehow. I think it willtake at least 1.5 years... or more...but u never know

I haven't heard of that issue yet but I wouldn't suggest shutting down.

yes u can, as the psp hasnt started to format the flash. it has only searched the memory stick for the DATA.DXAR which was not put in its proper place. turn the psp off, and put it in the right spot.

Question:
Anyone have problems running "Ratchet N Clank - Size Matters on 3.40 OE?"
I bought the UMD before I knew about ISOs, but never tried it out until yesterday. It pulled up the preview screen, but when I actually try loading the game, the screen just goes dark indefinitely. So then I downloaded an ISO of the game, and it doesn't even show up as being present when I look at the games on my PSP (although it does take up space on the memory card; also when I plug the USB into the computer, it shows it as being there).
Any suggestions? Could the UMD be faulty, or is this more likely to be a firmware issue? Just thought I'd check before I ran out to trade in the UMD.
Thanks,
-RD

Darn! Ratchet is my favorite PS2 game, and I'm hankering to play it on my PSP. Anybody else have info?

if it is a custom firmware then it will work. but just to make sure check the firmware if it has an "OE-A".
