Hi, I'd like to continue this thread but add that I'd like to play MKV files on my PS3 without RE-ENCODING with PS3video9.

I saw the other two links DVDBACK submitted however my audio on all my MKV files is .mp3 not AC3 or DTS...

I have tried this tutorial http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/...aystation_3.cfm
which allows accepts .mp3 as the audio source while creating the .mp4 container holding the mkv. However my video is 720 x 563 (or something widescreen like that) and the end result is some 4:3 resolution which makes the image squished.
