I was using the trial version of Nero for some time until the trial time expired. So I then upgraded to the full version 7.8.5.0. Unfortunately this is the error code I get now just after DD Shrink finishes 'encoding' the video, please help, for I do not understand what is going on here:

Do you or have you had Roxio on your system?

I noticed you're using Princo manufactured media. If the problem persists, you may want to try a better rated media.

Thanks for the help guys!! Success!!

I checked out the DMA and the settings appeared correct. So I updated the firmware and switched to Sony/Accucore brand and now it's working like a champ.

Thanks again!!

Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim is always your best bet and remember to burn no faster then 8x also

Strangely enough some Sony is Taiyo Yuden as is Verbatim. It just depends on the purchase. I usually buy Sony +R which is TY manufactured when MIJ and Sony when MIT. Both work well. I'll take the TY when available, but don't mind buying the MIT if the MIJ isn't available. MichaelP1 could have expanded his list a bit, but is right on the TY and Verbatims. Most brand names made in Japan (MIJ) are usually good media (i.e. Fujifilm) and Ricoh has been a good manufacturer over the years.

Out of curiosity, will the Princo media work with the firmware update?

BTW, you're welcome and glad you got-r-done.
