LMAO. Why did you do that? You CANNOT emulate 1.50 then upgrade to 3.40 OE-A..
You have to downgrade to 1.50, not emulate it.

COS I am a noob.
I should have taken the time to read more etc but I did not have the time.
I just posted it so nobody else makes the same mistake (provided they read this)... I will try to get it repaired.
Anyone know and any one who can repair this?

I've never heard of this problem before on how you emulated 1.50 then tried to upgrade to 3.40 OE-A. As far as repairs go, you might as well go with the modchip.

or go to walmart if you have your recite and say you were charging it when your fuse broke and your psp gave off a large spark, when you tried booting it was completly totaled :p (or make something up)

Brilliant, works perfectly. I previously has devhook.51 on my bros psp now have 3.40 OE-A. I can now play GTS:LCS UMD without any lag. The only weird thing is that recovery mode sometimes appears itself when power is turned on whan i have not pressed R. Currently downloaded Gran turismo 2 and Transformers both of which run fine.

I tried to use 3.40 installer and it does work with older ISOs but I cannot run TRANSFORMERS on it and FINAL FANTASY II
Does anybody know if there is a problem with these games and the above firmware?

I think its probably the transformers iso, because my ISO works perfectly.
Also I wondered if anyone could help me, I have a GTA:VCS UMD which I played OK once at 333 CPU speed, but thereafter it lags, whilst driving in vechiles? Anyone know how to overcome this problem?????????????????????
It used to lag before when i ran it through devhook, I expexted the problem to go away with 3.40 OE-A, but only got lucky once. It only worked lag free the first time i tried it.
Aslo with another UMD : FIFA 2006 i cant play it because the X,o,Square,triangle keys freeze/dont work, the directional ones do work!!!

u might have had a bad flash. recovery to 1.50 then re install OE

i just want to konw if u can update from a 3.50 to a 3.40 oe-a i got the 3.40oe-a but i dont know if i should put it in the psp or not i would like to know if something could happen to the psp any damage or somethin tanx a lot
2:and if i need some other version in order to put it in 3.40 oe-a
in the README says something aboput 1.50 and i dont konw wat dat is so pls tell waut should i do tanx again

Hi, just joined.. I think its time i get more out of my psp ( pulls out and wipes dust off) ok iam gonna need some help, and yes i will read more in the fourms,1. this ta82 mobo how do i know if i have this?? is it the numbers in the disc tray ( in there i have c1003).
2. how to and is there a downgrader from 3.01
3. do i need gtalcs or that what is it lemmings game, is there a other way
4. shit i forgot my other qustions, why cant i mutitask like my computer.. i will be back with more q's...uumm ( scratchs head)
5.when it says org fw that would be 2.71 for me right not sure if that was i know it was above 2.0 when i bought would this be a problem if i tried to downgrade past that.

you have a ta-082 or 86. upgrade to 3.03 and use the 3.03 downgrader. yes it does require a gta lcs unpatched. and if you upgrade to 3.50 you need lumines not lemmings. So you cant do it without a game.

umm yeah that's the one you need. installing a custom firmware will get you set for everything...no homkebrew loaders or iso loaders... u only need emulators exept for the psx emulater if ur on 3.03 (i beleive) or up.

ty for responding, iam lost here iam not sure how to downgrade ive tried looking and some will take me down and up to 3.03hen or soemthing i dont want that and if i use this custom firmware i cant use backup iso's? can u point me with some links iam a total noob here and would just like to get this over with u know, ty agian
