oops forgot one more question too,what can you tell me about REPLAY BOX PVR C100 in comparrison to a replay lite box?they use same codes?which is better? any help on the subject would be grateful

Hi red 05,
No I didn't get the message,but to answer your question.
You will have to what is called "flash the box" with the latest software.
First you will need to buy a NULL MODEM LEAD, this can be bought from maplins. Make sure the part number L17BT is on the front of the packet.
Dowload the software from the link at the bottom of the page.
You need to download the file called 752 it's in the replay/firmware section.
In the replay/documation section download the flashing the box file, it will guide through the process on how to flash the box.
When you have all the files required.
PLug in the null modem to your box and computer, switch on the box.
Open up the 752 file, you will see a file called stblik, click on it, choose run, and then get connection from your box to the pc.
Then choose upgrade software, this will put the 752 on your box.
you will see all the files transfering from your computer to the box.
There are 515blocks to transfer, during this time look at at the box, the red/green lightwill blink slowly, when all the block are transferred WAITA COUPLE MINUTES MORE UNTIL YOU SEE THE RED/GREEN LIGHT BLINKING MUCH MUCH FASTER THAN IT WAS WHEN YOU COULD THE FILES VISIBLY TRANSFERRING.
If you unplug the box too early, you will get a dead box.
It is extremely important to wait for the very very fast blinking red/green light.When you get the light, unplug the box and modem led, and power up the box again WITH nothing attached other than the power lead. the box will come on and flash very briefly. Connect the scart and TV antenna lead, unplug and plug in the box again.
To check if the flash was good. On your remote control go to MENU.
Utility,Receiver Information,OK (on your remote)
SW Version should read 7.52
If this is ok you will then have to do a scan for stations.
After scan is complete and your stations saved,
Go to menu,
User Installation
Parental lock
Current password 0000
Parental lock ?off
Install lock ----off
New password 7777
Confirm password 7777
Exit to TV Screen,
You need to go to parental lock again
Current password
Type 7777
Goto key manager.
Current key----ok
Auto update -----off
Exit to TV screen and you should be sorted.
I am Dublin,Ireland and I have my channels and favourites stored and saved, if you are in the same locality I can put them on here and you can download them and flash them to your box, that would save you some time on a rescan and sorting of channels and favourites.

Hi gang
It?s all about the timing.
Times for cloning and flashing.
I have done this with a stopwatch so the times are bang on.
To clone a box takes 3mins 42 secs. from the time you plug in the second box.
So if you give it 4mins then it should be ok.
But make sure the led is flashing much more quickly than it did when you first powered the box for cloning.
To flash a box.
Form when you see the blocks start to transfer.
It takes 4 mins for the box to be updated.
But make sure you see the led flashing much more quickly than it did when the blocks were transferring.

Hi witko,
I can only imagine it's something to do with updating the epg.
When you power down the box it goes to default and when you power it up again, it resets itself via the network you are conected to.
If it saves timed recordings to your hard drive, it should be OK.

yo brian my man scouser defered me to here to ask ya about replay
mine is actin up slightly al tho i think it just a network upgrade
as scouser said its the movies there all slow distorted etc etc like when you burn a dvd with nero for e.g

They might get you in your sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
We could do a Movie about that maybe call it A Nightmare On O'Connell Street.
It probably is them, especially if the box was working ok before.
As you say "tomorrow is another day" at the end of the day.

They should work for all.
They are nhell dublin.
I just did a manual scan and it worked.
Take a note of where you have celtic tv stored at the moment or any blank channel, if you have say 141 channels.Go to 142
Go to manual search.
Go to the channel number where you want to store the channel you are looking for.
Change the frequency to the one on the frequency list
Put the symbol rate to 6875
Consellation 64 QAM
Search by network ON
Search.....then view....hopefully it will work.
If it doesn't, go to the link under my picture, in the replay section you will a file called dub_chan_fav. Download it and flash it to your box.

im after messin all my channels up there all over the shop they used to be the way it was when i first got it like rte1 rte2 then ya know the rest i knew where everthing was any way of gettin that back?

Run the stb link file.
Click Write Factory Data.
Get the file dub channel fav from your desktop.
Click Write Factory Data There are 64 blocks to upload.
Wait a couple of minutes more after your PC has read all blocks transferred.
The red/green light should be flashing much more quickly than it was when you could visibly see the files transferring.
Then unplug the null modem lead and the box.
Power up the box again and in a few moments all my channels and favs will be on your box.
Moggser you could do a factory reset first if you haven't got a null cable at the moment and if you are going go dí dó leaba, do a full rescan, it might solve that other problem with the flickering channels.

the flickin channel thing is sorted before i started messin with it tryin to get in the celtic tv it was there but always came up blue screen and no signel message
i rescaned it already done a reset thats what messed my channels up im more anooyed with that now might just clone it from my buddys one that i fixed for him not so longa ago
ever since the new firmware for it the 7.52 it alway came back to normal the channels in order i mean after a reset

When doing a manual search on the replay lite.
If you have: 147 channels stored
Go to manual search
Choose channel number 148
Enter the frequency from the frequency chart.
Enter the symbol rate Ireland 6887
Leave Constellation at 64 qam
Search by Network ON
During the search a small number of channels will be found.
One of them will be the one you are looking for.
Select view to save them all.
They will be stored from channel 148 onwards.
Delete the ones you already have stored and delete where you originally had the channel you were looking for.
Then move the new channel you were looking for to the location you require.
If you scroll half way down this page you will find them for the UK

Just back to report that my modulator arrived this morning from ebay and the seller is from ireland i believe!! Came super fast and is the bees knees! Works a treat AM DELIGHTED
I had the one with the loop thru scart. So connected scart out from the replay to the modulator scart in, then scart out from that to main tv - so still have scart pic there. Then put outdoor aerial into the modulator too, so save me re tuning in channels as normal and tuned in channel 6 on all tvs to C21. rf out from modulator to aerial/booster and then out from that to other tvs in house. Pic is fab!! No loss. The modulator has a channel selector for you to choose which ever C number you wish to broadcast on, so it dont interefere with say C5 etc - thats why i chose 21. It really is the bees knees and did exactly what i wanted. Highly recommend
