hi brian 1956.
dont know where to start.
first of all, the menu screen wont turn off, even when i use the exit button. anyway i found the software number
sw version 7.50
hw version 1770-1.0-cs100
also when i go into parental lock my remote wont change anything, even trying to change the frequency the remote control wont change the frequency or symbol.
think i need a miracle.

No need for a rescan, as it is in the same place as Rangers TV.
So just go to channel manager..TV channel...green button for edit
rename channel and just type in the new name, LFCTV where Rangers TV is listed.
brain me man was lookin at rangers tv there and it comes up blue screen and no signal on top o screen do you remember i asked about that a while back nat seem to get it at all

Hi angie97,
Software 7.50 will need to be updated to 7.52
To do this you will have to buy a null modem lead in maplins, part number L71BT don't buy anything that has not got this part number on it.
The rest of the software can be obtained in the link under the picture at Eamos Library.
Go to the replay section.
In the firmware folder you will find the files used to update or fix your box.
Download the 752irl file to your desktop.
In the software folder you will find,
download the Stblink5.20, the file used to transfer the firmware from your PC to your box.
In Documentation folder you will find,
Download Flashing the replay lite PDF.This is a guide to show you how to update the box.
When you get the null modem lead, check back here and someone will guide you through the process.
Anyone in the Dublin 10 area clone a replay lite for Angie?

Hi moggser,
To do a manual search for liverpool tv,
Manual search, up pops the box,
Channel Number CH1
Frequency 394
Symbol Rate 6887 ( it also works on 6875 )
Con 64QAM
Search by Network ON
Search................
In a couple it will start to find channels and it will find all channels on that frequency....when search is over...select View.
The new channels will be stored on the box after the channels you have already saved.So it won't upset the already saved channels.
If You had 147 channels, the new ones will be stored from 148 onwards.
Use the channel manager to delete and move the new channels to wherever You want.
Hope they who we shouln't mention arn't messing around again.

Sometimes you have to do that manual search a couple of times.
Don't know if you want to try this, but if you want do a quick auto search.
These are what I search for on for the Darkside, In Dublin
start freq 290
end freq 403
symbol rate 6887
constellation 64 QAM
Search by network ON
This won't take long to find all your stations.

Was your replay lite working ok in your mate's place before and when you brought it home, some of the channels wern't working?
Probably why you can't get Liverpool TV.
I think's you are Dublin 1,
There are people who have been on here before from your area, if they are reading this could you let us know if all the stations are coming in OK in Dublin 1
What software is on your replay lite.
Menu,,,Utility...Receiver Info...ok

Ho moggser,
Your box has the latest software, so it's OK.
I think we tried to load up my channels before on your box and you went to your friends house, loaded up the channels, they worked in your friends house but didn't work in your area.
You could do a full rescan on the settings in the post above, but you still might not get all the channels and all your favourites will be messed up.
You could try the scan and if it didn't work, do a factory reset, sometimes this put's the box back to where it was before the rescan.
It's your call brother, sorry I can't be of more help, there are people in the Dublin 1 area who have been on here looking for help, but they don't seem to be around at the moment to give us some feedback. Any one in the Dublin 1 area got Liverpool TV.

Hi Folks,
Anyone else having this problem, have dropped a few channels, i.e. living+1, nick replay, abc1 etc. The screen is blue with "no signal" displayed on-screen. Am afraid to do a re-scan in case I loose more channels.. Anyone else have this problem or know how to rectify?

Hi plascebo,
What country are you in and what area.
Has your box got the 7.52 software loaded.
Do you have a null moden lead L71BT, if you and live in Dublin, I can post my channels on here and you can download them and using the null modem lead, send them to your box and you will have all my channels and favourites stored on your box.
If you do a rescan it will mean sorting out all your channels, but you should find what you are looking for.
A quick scan below.
If you live in Ireland
start freq 290
end freq 403
symbol rate 6887
constellation 64 QAM
Search by network ON
This won't take long to find all your stations.
If you live in the UK
Start freq 290
end freq 692
symbol rate 9887/6952
constellatioN 64 Qam
Search by network ON

Live in the D13 area. The bloke I bought the box off originally updated the software to 7.52 so don't have the necessary leads etc. to update or download to it. Have absolutely no problem with re-scanning and putting the channels back in order, am just afraid that if I do a re-scan I will loose more channels than the ones I originally lost. Am just wondering if anyone else has the problem of "no signal" appearing on some the their stations and how they got around it.

Hi plascebo,
Your box has the latest software, so no problems there.
The reason for the No Signal problem is sometimes the station frequencies are moved around, they are no longer where you orginally
stored them.
Do a rescan and you will find them all as they are all on now.
These are the settings I have used in Dublin.
start freq 290
end freq 403
symbol rate 6887
constellation 64 QAM
Search by network ON
This won't take long to find all your stations about 5 minutes.
When the box says so many channels found, select view.
Then it's just a matter of sorting out your channels.
If you get 0000:scrambled after the rescan, go to parental lock.
Password 7777, (might be 0000) Turn off parental lock.
New password 7777 confirm password 7777.
exit to tv and you should be sorted.
Next time you are in the city centre, go to maplins and buy a null modem lead part number L71BT you will need this in the future for software updates. Make sure the cover on the packet has L71BT on it. Don't ccept anything else.

Can anybody help i have a replay lite on N*l in south wales and i can only get basic channels bbc itv ect has anybody got the new codes as i have tried loads but can not get it to work is their a way to reprogramme it as i am well issed off and a bit thick i think as far as the replay lite goes im going to see how far it can fly please HELP thanks..................

i live in a telepest area in middx near sw london and i have lost all mtv chanels for about 3 mounths ive rescaned and know how to use box fully and have the latest firmware can anybody help do you know how to and what are the frequences of the mtv chanels to do a manual search

any way i might rescan it dont tink it will do much good as same thing happins when i reset it channel go back to the way you gave to me from the link so thats one thing i don have to worry aboutill give it a whirl when i get in and let you know how i get on

i'm in the Dublin 11 area and all the channels that are on the 394.0 freq are all coming in with no signal and a blue screen. these channels include setanta 2, liverpoolfc tv, celtic tv, the hits, jetix, more4 +1, abc1... does anybody else have the same problem or have n*l changed them to a new frequency....

some of them you mentioned never worked like abc liverpool tv is on rangers tv instead the others should come in with a rescan im missin a few myself i.e celtic tv setana 2 should be there but on diff name i think do a reset then rescan an see what happins
i know my prob is due to weak transponders in my area
