I get the same problem on NTL with some boxes, the screen just flickers when current key is selected. Sometimes unplugging it and trying again 10 minutes later works, but mostly I just clone it again. Some sort of glitch maybe.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement power cable for a lite? Can't seem to find a universal adapter that will do it, dude in the shop says a cable with a range as low as .3 amps is hard to come by

Hi Damo,
I got a Uniross Regulated AC/DC Adaptor.
Input :AC 100-240V~50Hz 0.17-0.38A
Output :DC 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,12V---1250mA 15VA Max.
Part Number AD100942.
I got in the Electrical shop in Swords Village.
When you enter Swords village, it's on the right side,in off the road. Make sure when you connect it to the box, it's set at 12V
and that the attachment for the box connector is set at the correct polarity.

Hi Damo,
When you enter Main Street and pass through the first set of Traffic lights, it's immediatly on the right hand side, Assuming you are approachiing from the Malahide Road end.
It a it back in off the street, I think it's called CP Electrical.
Bring a lead with you to show them, copy the specs from my other post and show it to them, they are a good bunch, think it was about ?20

I have just loaded a file in the library, (link at the bottom of this post.)
It?s all my channels and favourites as I have them on my Replay Lite.
This is for Dublin on nhell.
Click on the link.
Go to the Replay folder.
Then the replay channel dump files.
Download Brian chan fav feb 29 2008 to your desktop.
Connect the null modem lead to your PC and box and power up the box.
Open up the stb link.
Setup Comm.
Click Write Factory Data
and get the saved file from your desktop.
There will be 64 blocks to upload.
These will then transfer from to your Replay lite.
Make sure as always to wait for the rapidly flashing light before unplugging the null modem lead.
Unplug the box.
Power it back up again and all my channels and fav?s will be stored on your box.
Use the Channel Manager to rename Favourites.
1 General TV
2 Movies
3 Sports
4 Music
5 Kids
6 Documentaries
7 News
8 Others
DO NOT USE THE UPGRADE SOFTWARE BUTTON DURING THIS.

successfully pulled in setanta sports 2 yesterday on its new frequency 379.5 but it went again last nite.now its showing that it has moved to 363.5.tried the manual search on this frequency bit although i get all the other channels i dont get setanta sports 2,anyone any ideas

Setanta 2 is on 379.5 in Dublin.
Do a manual search and you should find it.
A lot of othere channels have moved, that's why I uploaded a channel file to the Library.
If have a null modem lead L71BT you can download my channels and favourites according to my post above this.

I have been using it and have no problems.
To download the file, go to The link at the bottom of this post.
Go to the Replay Folder.
Go to Firmware Folder.
Download Replay_Lite_beta_0208Zip File.
Please note that this is a BETA file, when you flash the box with this you will have to do a full rescan, so backup your channels and Fav?s to your PC.

To backup your saved channels and favourites.
Connect the null modem lead to your PC and box and power up the box.
Open up the stb link.
Setup Comm.
Click Read User Data
The file will be called Factory_Data.txt
There will be 64 blocks to download from the box.
Save it to your desktop and rename it what you want.

If at a later date you do a full rescan and find nothing,
You can reload the file you have saved on your desktop.
But when you have established a connection with the stb link
Click Write Factory Data and get the saved file from your desktop.
There will be 64 blocks to upload.
Make sure as always to wait for the rapidly flashing light.

To Upgrade The Box.
Connect the null modem lead to the box and your PC.
Select upgrade software
Get the Beta file from your PC.
From when you see the blocks start to transfer.
It takes 4 mins for the box to be updated.
But make sure you see the led flashing much more quickly than it did when the blocks were transferring. If you leave for even 5 mins it will be OK.
Wait until all the blocks are transferred and WAIT a couple of more minutes for the led to flash much more rapidly than it did when you could visibly see when the blocks were transferring.
Unplug everything and only connect the power lead.
Wait for the led to flash red/green and then stay on green.
Then connect SCART and TV cables.
You might have to unplug the box again and then power it up for a second time.
When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed
Don't unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed
Menu.
User Installation
Parental lock
Current password 0000
Parental lock ?off
Install lock ----off
New password 7777
Confirm password 7777
Exit to TV Screen,

nice one brian worked well... epg still a little slow to show all programmes on now on the different channels but maybe the box needs to be on a while to gather all the info! ive fecked off to bed and left the missus moving the channel around he he ... ps the info button is perfect........ ill buy u a pint in the jolly beggerman next time your in lol......

When the final released soon, we will be able to clone the boxes.

yes brian checked the date and time and i dont want to apperar ungreatful but the list that shows what programmes are on now is still blank saying no epg ! now in fairness if you wait long enough it will eventully appear but to to get the beta version working 100% i just thought i,d let the makers know whats happening here in dubln... hope you enjoyed your few arthur scargills last night brian and the kids feck off and go out and play and leave us alone on our soccer day lol...... thanks to all ppss the info button is perfect..

The epg does take a while to come on, as you say.
You are perfectly right, the box takes a while to update all the info.
But when it does, it works a treat.

Regarding the new software.
The is no need to Change the Parental code, this can be left at 0000.
Parental lock can remain in the ON position, the box will still work.
When you go into parental lock, just press the red button on your remote control, then turn off Auto Update button.
If anyone in C##us Ireland is using please, give some feedback.
