hi brian i am ok thanks, hope you are too, i used the link you gave me but with no luck..prior to that i used the 742a file for pvr and the 751 pvr bin which gets box up and running. so i tried 742 then 913 no luck, tried 742,751,913..no luck, can you advise me on if there is a correct way or order to input new software in pvrs? h replays 742a then 910 is simple, so what would you suggest to get it working with new software? hope you can help thanks

Try this file first,
It's the 743A
http://www.speedyshare.com/523963911.html
Don't do the setup com...Untick the Maintain user data box
Upgrade Software.....If the box is not connecting immediatly..unplug it and plug it back in real quick..real quick.
Ignore all errors that pops up.
The trick is to get an "A" file on the box with a green light.
When you do this...then flash as above with the 910.

Hi All,
Please don't PM me as I will not respond to them, any questions can be posted here on the open forum.
My reason is I got too many PM's asking me questions that would get a quicker response on here by me or one of our many helpful members.
Thanks.

this might seem like a silly question but is the pvr-c100 a replay lite box? i got told it was a normal replay box or does the same software cover both?

Replay Lite needs 910 firmware. If it doesn't have an onboard hard drive then it's a Replay Lite.

New software for the Replay Box PVR.
Back up your channels first.
To backup your saved channels and favourites.
Connect the null modem lead to your PC and box and power up the box.
Open up the stb link.
Setup Comm.
Click Read User Data
The file will be called Factory_Data.txt
There will be 64 blocks to download from the box.
Save it to your desktop and re-name it what you want.
_____________________________________________
Then flash with the 742A
Plug back in your box wait for green light.
Then flash with the 913.
Box will probably stay on red.
Reload your channels and favs and it will fix this.
_____________________________________________
You can reload the file you have saved on your desktop.
Open up the stb link
Click Write Factory Data and get the saved file from your desktop.
There will be 64 blocks to upload.
When it's transferred to your box.
Unplug everything...power up the box...wait for green light....then plug in your TV and scart leads.
You will have to wait while
for it to unscramble.

None of the codes posted ever seem to work, only had one that did and that lasted 2 days, since then nothing.
These are for original N*hell in the UK - prov id 00x55
8A 6B 42 56 DA D3 83 1E
F0 D9 2C F6 A8 D3 D1 2F
If your provider was something else before like ex Telepest or C&W you will need different ones.
My prov id is 00x5D but it's definately an N*hell area.
Those codes don't work for me :(
Even though you are an N*hell area now it may have been a different area in the past and therefore the N*hell keys wont work. Try these ex CW keys in 00x5d
Key 0x00 = A0-89-3B-CB-45-21-A7-53
Key 0x01 = 46-E6-90-34-00-8C-1E-83
There was the problem! Cheers mate that worked :)

I Just did the same.
Had the red Light too as you have.
What I then did was load my channels and favs from my PC to the box.
Powered up the box again...went to one of the movie channels...and waited for it to unscramble and it took a while but it did.
So the files are OK.

What area are you in Pegg?? Roughly...no address...or the Darkside will know where you live...just your city..and I will see if I or another member can get a channel list for you...a channel list off a replay lite or a replay box will do.

Delighted you are up and running Pegg.
It's handy to have the channel list backed up.
