What's wrong with the box? Did it ever work or does it need to be flashed with the new software? Have u got Gman's channel lists for galway? Does anyone know what the symbol rate is for Galway?

Thanks.
Hey Slivvy, when you do an auto scan do you have your symbol rate set to 6887? Can't help you unless you let us know exactly what is happening with your Replay Lite.

Hi everyone,
Long time no chat, hope you are all well. the thesis is finally finished! I was wondering if anyone has a recent list of the frequencies for Ch***s in Dublin like the Ntell one provided? Missing all sorts of channels after 3 scans.

Hi Eva,
My cable provider was Ch0ru$ now U*P*C.
I thoought it should work in Sligo as well as Galway cos Ch0ru$ and N*TL are all under U*P*C now!
Think I'll get someone to check my box in Galway to see if its the box or the area.
Thanks.
Will let you know what the outcome is.
Your Symbol Rate should be 6875.when doing a scan.
People who were on korus 6875
People who were on nhell 6887
Do a Auto scan.
Leave the start and end frequencies as the are.
Put symbol rrate at 6875
Constellation 64Qam
Search by network....ON
Search.....when all channels are found...select View

Hi everyone,
It's a brand new box, so I've never had it working before.
I've checked the Utility...Receiver Information on the box and it says that my software version is 9.10
I've used the following settings (as recommended by BRIAN1956, thanks Brian, still no joy though)
Start frequency.......290
End frequency.........866
Symbol rate...........6875
Constellation 64 QAM
Search by network ON
I have Gmans channel list for Galway.
Tried a few (even though I suspected I wouldn't find anything).
A friend of mine is going to try it out in Galway so I'll know if it's the box thats the problem... or not!
I appreciate all the advise that everyone has given me to help get me up and running.

Hi All,
Just to let ye know that the box works perfectly in Galway (except for a few channels with NA scrambled ... but I see ye have fixes for this!)
Not sure why Sligo doesn't pick up any channels but it looks like I'm going to have to find another FTA option instead.
Thanks for all your help.
Much apreciated.

Sorry to hear that Slivvy. I'm sure that someone else from Sligo was on this thread before, if you feel like reading back through a couple of hundred pages of posts to see what they had to say.

Hey Slivvy, try this. On your cable co box, not your replay lite press help and go into technical information. This should give you a symbol rate for your area. Then plug in your replay lite and enter that symbol rate for an autoscan. Let me know what your symbol rate is and how you get on. Good luck!

Are you on true cable, or do you have MMDS,(Aerial on the roof).
True cable is a direct feed into the house.
If there is an aerial/dish on the top of the house with cable running from it to the TV, it is MMDS and will not work on the Replay Lite.

it's 6887 for NTHell (Ireland) to just avoid confusion ;-)

I suspect your getting to the nub of the problem here Brian1956,...silvve if you do have the wrong box I can do a swap for a eurovox TX (mmds) box

May be analogue also as some parts of Sligo have only recently gone digital and a lot of other parts are still analogue, that case no "other" box will do.

No way :) N** MMDS = DVB C, Ch**us MMDS = DVB T, as you see the variants differ and it has been said many times N** MMDS is a DVB C variant and of course a DVB C box will work. Sligo is a different matter altogether.

Slivvy recently I had a box (on 9.10) which wouldn't find any channels on chorus despite using the correct search parameters. I never figured out what was wrong, I ended up switching it with another lite which worked perfectly on chorus (the rogue box turned out to work fine on NThelL). Maybe try flash the box again with 9.10 and do another scan or try switch it for another box.
Gman I found the Ntell frequencies for Dub and Galway in your sig, are they the same for Ch***s now that they have merged or am I missing the C****s list somewhere?!
Cheers

I'd imagine that they should be the same but I'm not 100% sure.
Never saw a Chours list.
