Replay Lite is fine on NTHell Irl at the moment. Make sure U load firmware version 9.10 and Bob's your uncle!!!! Cheers...The Scaldy One!!!

i folks
I very stupidly tried to clone a friends replay box with my 910 software forgetting that you cant do that!!! Now i cant get his box to work i have tried connecting it to my pc through stb link but it keeps going connection failed any ideas how to fix this??

Hook up the box again but this time don't do the COM Setup % ignore the not connected Msg. Try to install 910 again.

Here's a more comprehensive method originally posted by Brian.
Connect the Null modem lead from your box to your PC.
Open up the Stblink and select "Run"
DON'T do the Setup Comm.
Untick the "Maintain User Data" box.
Ignore the error message you will receive.
Select "Upgrade Software" and get the 742A file.
It will then start to transfer to you box.
When your PC reads "Transfer Complete" WAIT another couple of minutes before unplugging.
When the files are being transferred from your PC to the box, the led on the box will be flashing at this speed
DON'T unplug the box until until you see it flashing at this speed
When the flash is complete, unplug the box, null modem lead and exit the Stblink.
Power up the box again and WAIT until the light on the front goes Green.
Then do the above with the 910 file.
Then do your Auto Search.

Hello Friends
i have Replay PC100 with HDD. I wonder if i can copy all the saved movies and songs to my laptop to make a DVD or somthing.
I am sure Brian and Novice might have some solution to this problem :)

You will need a Scart to S-video lead,
You can get it in maplins.

If you haven't got an S-Video input connection on your laptop, one of these other cables will do, Pick from the list for the one that's suitable for your needs.

Then maybe use Windows Movie Maker to capture the Videos and Windows Media player to copy your songs.
I haven't done it myself but in theory it should work.

On my laptop i have S-video Out only..so i think i will not be able to use Scart to S-video cable to connect my Re*play.
I took HDD out from Re*play n tried to connect it with my other PC as a secondry drive but PC did not detect it..
any suggestions..

you might a bit of kit like this,

It's a bit pricy but will work.
Me, I would just connect the scart from the Replay Box into a DVD recorder and record from there.
You might try going down to Maplins, tell them the kind of lead you need, Scart on one end and whatever free connection you have on your computer.
Tell them you want to record DVD's from your DVD recorder to your PC.
I was looking for a Scart-USB 2 connector but haven't found one yet.
If I find it I will post it ASAP.

Hello forum anyone have the same problems last couple of days i have noticed that my box that was recently updated wont show sky , i have hade the softwear since the update came out and have hade no problems till over the weekend , did another scan it shows the channel there but when i go to view it or watch the channel it drops ? any one having the same problems , thanks in advance for your time .......

Otherwise we have the option of DVD recorder anyway :)

hi, i wonder if anyone can help me, i purchased 2 replay lite boxes to run on my virgin media(old ntl) in leicestershire. ive loaded the 752 with stb link 520. auto searched for channels which it has gave me over 200 tv and 50 radio. i have alson done the parental 7777 code and gone into and exited the manager settings and i have all my radio stations and all normal FTA tv channels ie itv,ch4,bbc however other channels are still scrambbled. when i got to switch to say sky sports 1 or a movie channels message comes up with 1800 scrammbled i left that on that channel for an hour still nothing so i havew tryed other normal pay channels still with the same 1800 scrammbled message. can sum1 plz help me get my replay lite box working properly.

Wrong Firmware, you should use 910

Get the 910 firmware for the Eamo's link in my Sig & load it using STBLink.
No need for 752, it's obsolete.

hi gang ! has anyone else been having problems with the box freezing for about 30 seconds as you scroll through the stations? it seems to happen a few times a day now! any ideas anyone? cheers lasses and lads.. and brian (he he)

when you say freezing when you change station thats what happins right???
like i mean it dont freeze any othere time??
i get that when you flick through teh stations the channel might stick for a bit then it undoes itself its nothin to worry about more annoying then anything else
