NOT HERE TO START WAR BUT I HAVE AN XBOX 360 WITH HD-DVD ADD ON AND A PS3 AND IVE HAD MY XBOX SINCE NOV 06 AND MY PS3 SINCE FEB 07 AND I RETURNED THE PS3 2 TIMES ALREADY, FIRST HAD 1 DAY AND WOULDNT TURN ON AGAIN, THE SECOND ONE HAD FOR 2 MONTHS AND GAME(RESISTANCE)GOT STUCK IN MACHINE IT WOULDNT EJECT OR TURN ON AGAIN SO BEST BUY REPLACED GAME AND CONSOLE,THE THIRD ONE I HAVE NOW BUT BEST BUY SAID IF IT BROKE AGAIN IN 07 IT WOULDNT REPLACE I SAID I DIDNT SEE WHY NOT I HAVE A TWO YEAR WARRANTY SO WE ARGUED AND I SAID IF IT BREAKS AGAIN AND YOU DONT REPLACE IT WILL GO THROUGH YOUR FRONT WINDOW WHICH AS YOU COULD IMAGINE DID NOT GO OVER WELL.ANYWAY I PLAYED HOURS AND HOURS OF XBOX GAMES AND SO FAR ITS HELD UP(CROSSING FINGERS)BUT I HAVE SMALL CHILD AND A COUPLE A DISNEY Blu-ray MOVIES AND NOT TO MENTION GAMES FOR THE PS3 TO BREAK DOWN THIS MUCH. I LIKE SONY MY TVS A SONY NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHER SONY STUFF I HAVE BUT SO FAR MY PS3 HAS ONLY BROUGHT ME HEADACHES AND NOT A RELIABLE GAME MACHINE IM USED TO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that?

It sounds like you have had a seris of unfortunate incidences regarding your ps3. Like anything in the world, there always are a few lemons, and it would seem you came aross them.

Better luck with the third one?

p.s. typeing in all caps has been proven to cause people eyes to bleed. fyi

Agree with both points,

Don't use caps.

and there are 100's of ppl on here and no one has had problems with there PS3's, compare that the the problems reported with 360's over heating and having the redlight of death. I've left my PS3 on for 4 day's by mistake, and no problems. I think If I had a 360 my house would have burnt down. I also got the PS2 on release and it still working fine. Had problems with my sony DVD player tho. but it is 8 years old. so nothing is perfect, but just think your unlucky.

I'd get ask for your money back if they give you any problems with giving you a new one if it does break again.
