hitachi 47d with C4E 2.4 (dint download the beta )
theres talk it just might be the hitachi drives right now, but it is real, i go to my connection status, everything can connect but LIVE, and i click more info, says banned for violating blah blah blah

if you dont mind, not that i dont believe you, i just want to know what it looks like. thats crazy though. if its just hitachis then im glad i got a samsung dvd drive.

I have a sammy with 5.3 and my box still gets on live fine. my mate just got banned with a hitachi 47 with the new 2.4 firmware :-(

i think the xtreme firmware is stealth. im pretty sure thats why we havent been banned. they cant detect us at all. im on Halo 3 right now with no issues besides i cant find a match lol. all these people and everyone is such a high skill level.

yeah something funny is going on... I have a HITACHI v78 modded w/
FW Toolbox 3.1b..(FW v1.7)... I have been playing w/ No problems...
Also download the Halo 3 Beta and have been playing it w/ No problems...
Checked my Xbox Live connection... all is good....
Read on another site there have been people banned that do not have
modded firmware... so lets hope its just a LIVE issue... and that MS
is not banning folks...

I was playing Fight Night Round 3 last night and when I got done and booted back to the dashboard, I got signed out of live as well. Now it says and I quote "You account has been suspended due to a problem with your payment option. Please use a different payment option or update your current info in account management."
I've updated my info and I'm actually on a 3 month Live prepaid card. I can pass all the network and live tests but I'm still unable to sign into live. I'm not banned yet, just halfway there.

Well I guess its official according to this - is this the error code you got:

As you can imagine, we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to modded consoles connecting to LIVE.
We're very serious about this, and if we detect you have a modded Xbox then you will not be able to connect to Xbox Live. If you see this screen and get Status Code: Z: 8015 - 190D?that means your console has been banned.

I have a MS28 with 5.3a on it. Doesn't seem to be banned yet as I haven't even touched the Halo3 beta or downloaded the update to crackdown. Weird though. I'll call them later.

then i wouldnt worry too much, it seems the sammy drives are stealthed very well as i havent heard of a single sammy drive being banned yet.

I sure hope i'm not on the banned list. Anyway i'm gonna keep it unplugged and flash it back to the original firmware tomorrow and see what happens... Not really in the mood for bad news now.

I'd assume jitter-checking was all b/s

yeah I read that too, but I have just signed in fine, I have an MS25 with 5.3c and so far so good.
I have also read a few posts on Major nelson's site about people with un modded boxes being banned as well! I think they Microsoft fuxored up some how!!
