I played the Halo 3 beta demo today can I have Crackdown on Live right now with a MS28 flashed with 5.2d.

Is looking like the Hitachi's are the main culprits of getting banned! Maybe the firmware was not quite right :-(

newb question but are people only getting banned DUE to trying to play the Halo 3 beta while updating(b/c of the fix earlier)? or is it in general with any game? thanks

One of my mates didnt download the Halo 3 beta yet he has still been banned ( hitachi)
I have downloaded the Beta and can still sign in to live (Sammy)

Well I got online right now with Crackdown. I haven't tried to fire up the beta yet. I may give it a shot in a little bit.

it seems like ONLY drive to be safe ATM is MS28...FRIKS and my 360 just bricked on me with the ms28 drive. BUT there are still some out there hopefully I can find one fast.

im pretty sure its something else like they temporarily took ppl of live so they can help keep the Halo3 beta thing downloading without it like dieing of pressure.

I'm try to get all the info I can on this. I modded a couple of friends' consoles. They both have MS25 with 5.2d. If they get banned I'll hear about it tomorrow. So far it seem seems no Hitachi 0078fk, MS25 with x5.2x or MS28 with x5.2x or x5.3x has been banned yet from all the reports I'm seeing. Keep the reports coming guys.

guy i have sammy i didnt download Halo3 and i have the newest firmware im banned guys my question is will there be any way like maybe new firmware thats will fix this im soooooooooooooooo fu&&ing pissed

I am also a victim of being banned. I have a Hitachi 47 drive and I just flashed it with the 2.4 stealth ware. I spoke to microsoft and the console has been banned, and not the gamer tag. He says it was cought by downloading Halo 3.

Which Sammy? MS25 or MS28? If it's a real ban sorry, there will be no fix.

Hitachi here - got myself banned
I had Halo 3 for about 7 hours before i got banned . So pissed off, any suggestions?

How do you get banned? By using a backed up copy of Crackdown or MS/Live detects the custom firmwares or what?

if you've been banned then your console has been banned, if you want to get back on live you will be able to keep your gamer tag but need a new console :-/

firmware 5.3 im not buying a new console to play 1 game on live, this make me laugh ok they get me off live but i still can play backups they wont get my money from buying games i still win i mean it sucks i cant get online but ill get over it, if i do buy a another console 6 months later they band me again its a joke but honestly i thought smart people would do soemthing this fixs this maybe go back to orgin firmrare maybe that works?
