Is it good or bad to get a ps3 cooler do they really work?
Because the one of 360 breaks the console lol

...do you really need it? keep the system 4" away from coverings/walls like the manual says and i think you should be fine, i havent heard/read one thing on them overheating when properly vented.

i have a 2 fan cooler and its great keeps it very cool than normal, a little bit noisier though

Just use a quiet fan and its works very well. My PS3 is always cool and i don't even know the fan is on.

Havent had problems with mine overheating, Ive played several times from like 9pm to bout 3am.... I dont even notice the internal fan noise, maybe because I surround sound going on, so it may drown it....
