You automatically keep it, it dosn't delete it's like having 2. To get back to it type in boot-game-os at the kboot menu.

You don't overwrite it, you can have 2 OS.

Yo MidnightJ...this is getting really annoying. I installed it fine and everything and restarted and stuff and im all set up good but i can't figure out how to connect to the internet(wireless). I went to manual configuration from that corner button and i can't figure out how to actually connect, i can only figure out how to make a configuration. Can you tell me how you set yours up?
Please help because this is the only reason i spent like 4-5 hours doing a full format and setting this up, for the WIFI.

I'm having problems installing this also.

I'm trying to install this to the hard drive and I'm having problems partitioning the hard drive.

I've went through the manual process.

Under device I have /dev/sda1 Type fat32 Mount Point Windows Format Checked Size 10733 Used Unknown

When I try to continue from this point I get the message - No root file system is defined. Please correct this from the partitioning menu

I'm sure it's something simple but I can't figure it out. Any help would be great

I guess its hard to explain. All i did was setup a wireless connection myself.

Try this guide. http://ccsd.msoe.edu/faq/linux/Ubuntu.jsp?IDFaq=223

Now I've concluded that it doesn't even recognize my PS3 wireless card (the internal one) as a device...Help?

so what exactly are you putting onto the memory stick? i have a memory stick pro duo but never used it. In the guide it says, to create the folders, on your pc,or on the memory stick? These 2 steps i dont quite get.

2. Connect your USB device and create a folder called PS3 then create one called OTHEROS and then copy the otheros.bld inside of the OTHEROS folder.

3. Step 2 applys to memory stick also.

Okay get your memory stick pro duo and make a folder called "PS3" in it without quotations. And then make another folder inside that one called "otheros" without quotations. Then place the otheros.bld in that folder and put it on your ps3 and after you format it go to install other os (on ur ps3) and install the otheros.bld

What he said, Does your Ubuntu REALLY detect your PS3 wireless?

It's just that you are the first person to mention this. Rumour has it that it doesn't, unless that link you have is a new build.
