Okay got to 3.03oe-c but still have games that dont show up...Should i just go to 1.5 and use dev hook? I had it b4 on another psp, a little more complicating to work but i just play games on my psp and no home brew...Although i did see the black xmb and i say that looks pretty nice.
Let me know if you can help with anything.

thats too bad you still had iso troubles even with that firmware-I was under the impression that it was the most stable of the custom firmwares! I am not sure why most games will work fine by themselves, but if you group the same games with others, they just dont work...I am still trying to figure that out myself. As far as reverting back to 1.5, I mean, I guess its your call..if it works better for you, then by all means. The only problems are you cant customize your XMB, and I think the latest devhook only emulates up to 3.11-so if you have games that require higher firmware than 3.11, you are at a standstill.

Oh really? Thats seems odd that they wouldnt have the same sale where you are at. I know they had the red ones that are specially "formatted" for the PSP for $99-but I got the blue one that comes with an adapter for like cameras and stuff...That was the one on sale...It made a world of difference from that fake 2GB I was running before-now I have 8 games and two emulators running along with some music-I was lucky if I could get 2 games to work with each other before, much less adding my emulators on top of that...

Couldnt agree more! I have bought 4 mem sticks off of ebay, all from "power sellers," 2/4 were fake. Not worth the gamble imho.

indeed...thats why they are "power sellers" because they get those knock-offs from china/japan in bulk and drop ship them all over the place..the market is flooded with them fake shits!! I guess they have a whole section on ebay dedicated to "how to tell if your memory stick is fake" They even fake the hologram logos on the packaging to make them appear to be genuine!! Thats crazy!!

Do other iso's work?? How did you name the iso, if the name is too long the iso will not be read correctly. Also bumo the cpu speed up to max (333 Mhz) and see if that works.

My isos are always in a rar file when i put them in and cso...But i guess you need to keep them in the little purpole book as you put them in the folder or get the UMD gen and put bothe files in to change it back into an iso or cso. Not an expert on iot but i am sure that it needs to be in the cso or ISO form.

@vuk81-thats the iso itself-if you are using WinRAR to open your folders-go into the options and find the file associations and uncheck iso..but if you downloaded it, and thats the way it came-you will need to use UMDgen to create an iso.

No problem-I know usually when you get games from the internet, they are already in iso format, you just have to unpack them. Also make sure that your iso filenames are less than 15 characters. That has also been known to cause problems.

I've been having a similar issue.
My PSP was running 3.10 OE-A, working great, save for 1 file that I was going to update the PSP to run. I had some PSX files (1 with a custom icon) and about 4 PSP games on my 4GB stick.
I updated to 3.40 OE-A just a second ago with the files from psp (dash) hack (dot) com -- merely cause I had them bookmarked -- and now my PSP does not give me a listing of the files inside that folder. It simply does not react at all.
I reformatted my memory card and copied an ISO over as well as a CSO, both confirmed working. I then copied the patcher and thing that creates the data file over, to \PSP\GAME, \PSP\GAME150, and PSP\GAME340.
In all instances, with any combination of options in the recovery mode, UMD in or not, I click X on the Games - Memory Stick option, and I get a small circle in the corner of my screen for 2 seconds, then nothing.
On all the other tabs, pictures, music, etc, they work fine. It's only the games one that is not responding.
Could I have gotten a damaged version of the patcher or something? A little bit of a prank? Or is this some known issue and I'm just missing how to fix it? I do not have any plugins installed whatsoever.
