VLC On YDL For Ps3 HELP PLEASE!

When i installed the bootloader on the ps3 for ydl it picked up the .bld file not the .self file, and i have a read that that will make a difference when installing YCL if so, then how do i get the ps3 pick up the .self file rather than the .bld fie.

i dont have the self file and was able to install ydl so i think u will be ok

No i can install YDL fine but will i be able to install VLC seen beause my ps3 only found the .bld file not the .self file?
