Hi John

you do not say weather you are in c***** area or N** area but if you do a factory reset no your v4.00 stays in tact if you click the link on the bottom of my post it will bring you to another thread where you will find a lot of the information you require you can come back here when you are finished

the firmware stays the same after a factory reset just the channels need to be rescanned.

thanks so much for the codes working here in malahide with v4.oo on chorus and also with the brother in naas .

if you need any feedback or testing done for chorus over here just give us a shout .

also to all the lads on the site who helped me with different codes during the week

Do you have The new box or the Starview one as there is new software available for the new one which fixes the autoroll problem on C***** can you let me know thanks

I only have a Starview but might invest in the box in the next week or so .does anybody know a good ebayer selling them i see there is
a special ireland edition on ebay

Les i have the dublin area covered now i hope so if they go down should be able to get the codes handy just put 3 boxes up with v2.57 the fixed version for clones and i did not even have to enter them by the time i had the channel's scaned turned on he emu the codes where in by themselves could not belive it i even changed them again to see if the autoroll would work again and yes it did about 1 min it was back up working and yes all code helpers are appreciated not just me

The more people update the clones or genuines the less the codes will be needed and without you guys I would be lost , so its great to get all this info even if I dont need it :) Thanks for all your help :)

Is the fixed 2.57 still working on clones and if so is it still available and where from as it isn't on eakos link and drewish's site is still down.

has this fixed 257 fried any clones that we know of as its been available for a few weeks.

257 is clone safe on it's own, this has been modified to change keys during autorol no dead clones from this firmware.
clone killers 2.60 firmware and above

2.57au is not allowed on eamos site he got into trouble for it when you were gone.someone complained that he was provideing programs to watch pay tv for free.so he had to remove it.

ok will have to wait till he comes on and ask him to take it down also put the v2.57 on 4 boxes clones work perfect did not even have to put codes in by the time i had the channel scan done turned on the emu the code was in by itself could not believe it fair play to you

The new v4.5 for the box is picking up some strange channels In Dublin. I think they are cable provider channels. They are not working at the moment but maybe they are gonna provide more channels for us.

I am gonna do a full scan on the Starview and see is it picking up these channels. I will let you know in a while.

V4 on the genuine Starview is not picking up the Strange channels But it picks up a few extra set*nta channels. same as old set*nta's but have und or under after the names.
