Question for you - I have the autoroll 2.57 bin on my starview clone, but for some reason each time the codes have changed, the box hasn't re-enrolled. does this box autoenroll itself, or do I have to do something to prompt it?
Also, am having serious problems getting todays code changes to stick - I've saved them ( pressed OK each time ) exit out and then re-check them again and still there, present and correct.
Then try and switch to a scrambled channel and no joy - no picture - cycles thru the auto update screen.
When i go back into the codes, they've switched to the previous codes!
what's goin on here?

The 2.57 version you have is probably not the fixed 2.57 firmware that autorolls.
To solve the problem with your codes changing back, press the default key button first, then input the codes and press OK after each line change. By pressing the default key first this remedies this problem.

If you update your box to the new v2.57eu fixed firmware your box will autoroll and you will have no further need to put any more codes in it can be downloaded on the eko site under my post make sure it is the one that says fixed after it as there is one in there that has not got it after it ok

Hi fergus, just tried to update - reflash the box - not working! :(
i get a 'Flash Update Fail..' error each time - tried to flash an older version too - no joy.
I tried flashing on standby, switched on and in the menu, and still no luck. Any suggestions on whats wrong?

ok i'm about to give up!
I can't seem to get the new codes from this morning to stick - every time I retype them back in (i've hit the 'default keys' first) and then attempt to access a channel - i see the 'auto update' bit and after 130% we drop out to a blank screen. Rechecking the keys - they've changed! - Seems to me that the auto enroll part is trying to update the keys - so does that mean that these keys i'm using (from the codes thread) are incorrect? I'm in north west london?
Also, tried to reflash to ensure i have the correct auto enroll software, but I cant even seem to do that!
Is my box stuffed?
Hellp!

OK. I've just uploaded the 2.57 FIXED again to the eko site, in case somehow it got messed up. It's now available at this link
http://www.4shared.com/file/25962915/250..._api_FIXED.html
It may be worth downloading again, now, and re-try the flash. If it works, apologies to all those who tried it over the last day or two, and had problems with it.
If it works, can you please post back here and let me know.

Instead of multiposting here and
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/570703
which is against forum rules, why don't you just start a new thread with an appropriate title,
that way, if someone sees the title, and knows anything about it, they will be able to answer,
as they might not necessarily be looking through these threads.
