That adapter is for a PC which doesn't have a serial port built in.

It plugs into the USB of the PC & has a male serial connector on the other end.

You then use the standard NULL Modem 9 pin Female to Female cable to connect it with the box.

Maplin Part number for NULL Modem cable is L71BT

Does V**gin have the ability to detect the use of these boxes being used? I've heard rumours that a few house have been raided by the local constabulary.

To enter codes manually for Eurov0x

Press Menu then press the YELLOW button

A new screen will appear with boxes to input codes and provider detail code

To input the letters

A = TV button
B = RADIO button
C = -P button
D = +P button
E = INFO button
F = RECALL button

Press OK to SAVE and exit back to viewing

Yes if both boxes are in the same area & with the sam provider.

hi guys, sorry to ask really as i have had a look through the forum. Went out for a few last night came homelate to find my SV and Eurovox max not working. tried the codes for TW no joy. I also downloaded some software for eurovox from Eamo.

could someone just do me a favour and summarise where we are plz. i have what i think is a Sv clone on 257 fixed on TW

could i ask for
a) the code to update (get the kids off my case short term)
b) what is the correct software for both my boxes

much appreciated if you can help

use the v400 updated software/firmware for s/v, people on here say it works ok with clone s/v box's it will find the codes for you auto,
my s/v is not a clone but the new firmware works ok,

although i dont have a eurovox i believe there is also an upgraded software for it
