hi
i think every body agree that v 2800 it does the job, i tried to updated my self, but i can not, i think file was corrupted.
try to update to v 2800

Hi all, looking for advice on updating digivox software/firmware. Followed the tutorial to the letter, but when i run downloader 10, select the bin file (i'm trying to load v4000)and try to download, i get an error message "fail to open com port". Any suggestions?

if u have more than one com port try open up the other one and download from there.

ive been using version 2.800 on the digivox but the only problem is when i put the epg up its flickering and the names are getting jumbled up so i tried v4 firmware and when i go to put the channels in alphabetic order they end up everywhere is there any new firm ware with no problems at all ????

v2.8/v4.000 are the latest at the moment.
ive been using v4.00 for awhile now and all is perfect .
a factory reset and autoscan again may re-sort the channels for u . Try a channel dump too.

sound as a pound ill try that see whay happens ... but 2.800 is perfect only for the epg ... what is the zipped file 3200 in eamos library 2008 version is that firmware or what is it

v3200 is for TERRESTIAL BOX DVB/T ONLY, u have dvb/c box=cable

hiya main out for a stroll again lol,query with vers 4 i believe u cannot arrange favourites, also similar problem with new xl,have u found out any way of overcoming problem other than v.2.8. thanks.

Hi cact, yea a quick stroll in and out now and agin lol.
ive found v4 great, epg is perfect and put a channel dump in and cant fault it,Havnt had chance to look into XL yet though.

just loaded V4000 onto my digivox
All working fine, did an auto scan for N*L teeside and got all the channels fine .It even put them all in the correct categories in the favourites, however i noticed i had Ulster TV instead of ITV1 and BBC2 ulster.
So I deleted the channels and did another auto scan.This time I got the correct channels but they are all in 1 jumbled mass
Is there any way they can be categorised without doing it manually?

Hi Andy, Yea u did everything right but as far as im aware its impossible to get the fav's in order with the new software. So until
the glitch is fixed we will have to make do with the jumbnled up channels !

Im not sure. aLL i know is that the channel dumps dont work but u can manually input the favourites yourself.

For all files and the downloader 10 click this link http://eko.4shared.com/ and hit digivox
and select.
10. Check ?app file? (default).
11. Click ?download?
12. A progress bar will appear. Wait for ?download complete ? window to pop-up
13. Turn off Digivox and PC then disconnect.
Enabling Key Emulator
1. Connect Digivox to TV (usually scart), cable feed and power on.
2. Perform full auto-scan.
3. Go to ?main menu?
4. Scroll down to ?System Information?, press ?OK? to enter System Information menu.
5. On your remote control press ? 1 0 0 4 ? (ignore what happens on the screen)
6. ?Key Emu? will now be visible on the screen.
7. Change ?Key Emu? to ON
8. Exit menus and return to TV mode.
9. Go to a scrambled / encrypted channel and wait for update process to complete.
10. Scrambled channels should now be unlocked.
Problems with no sound
To get back sound on e4 sky1 ect just select the channel in question press menu, select installation, select manual scan, click ok on down frequency. It'll now scan for channels when its finished exit back to normal tv viewing screen go to the end of your channel listing and the desired channel will be there with sound. This can be done on any channel with no sound by just selecting that channel following the instructions above.
Probably being stupid here but in teh firmware tutaorial what does it mean by insert CD?

hi every one
plese any one can help me with updating digivox, las month i bought rs232 cable nullmodem with usb conection to conected to my pc, but my pc can not get the digivox, what i mean i connect every things correctly but there was not connection between pc and digivox, also i have another question, i dont know what they mean by insert cd then remove it from pc in order to update frameware, tha question is is what that cd contain, is it empty cd or there is some programm or files on it?

Hi guys,
Having trouble with the Flashing the Digivox
i have an rs232 cable and downloader 10, but when i try and download the 2.800 image it says "fail to update flash" i've follwed the instructions and i don't know whats wrong, anyone have a clue?
Also from the tutorial on the first page:
"8. Check settings and parameters. Defaults are usually correct."
on downloader 10 i don't see a settings or parameter button?
