One of my friends run an online store and he offered to sell me a brand new unopened ps3 20gb for 350$. Is this a good price to buy it? I've always wanted to buy a ps3 and have been waiting for a good offer. I mean the ps3 is getting a price cut in like a week so I was wondering what you guys thought of this.

In my opinion it is a good buy since the US is the only place to get 20gb models and are no longer made thus is why I picked one up at launch as I knew I would get a 60gb later. But as for your price how can you beat that?

$350 is a fantastic price because if you upgrade it, it'll still cost less than the 60gb.
For my PS3 20, I got a 120 gb HDD from newegg for under 100 bucks. On top of that, I also got the gaming adapter to get it online.
I really have no interest in uploading videos or pictures through memory card slots, so in theory, the PS3 20 is what I needed and, it cost less than the PS3 60.
$350 is a great price--if it's legit.

That is an excellent price for a ps3.
And it isn't getting that price cut just yet. So I would do it if I were you.

honistly $350 for a 20gb ps3 is brilliant but even if you do upgrade the hard drive the 20gb version has less gadgets on it, but still the only differece with the 20gb to the 60 is the flash card reader n dat, the chrome trim bit and the bigger hard drive but then agen the hard riev can be upgraded

$50 bucks more for a 60gb is an even sweeter deal....you get the added HDD space, WiFi & Card Reader.

I would definately get the 60GB one. You could make at least 100 bucks if you sold it on ebay, I got mine for 500.

Man if I were you i'll go for the 60GB.I use wireless internet so that would be the one for me,plus you get 60GB,chrome finish(the 20GB looks like crap to me,my opinion)and the memory card slots.Go for the 60GB,I mean $50 more dollars and you get all the extras,go for it:D

This isn't craigslist or ebay Zegame. What you asked is not what this thread was made for. Do it again and you will have some time off.
